This topic is of great interest to me. I have a Lund Tyee Magnum 1750, and was told our kicker, a Mercury 9.9 that weighs in at about 85 pounds, is too heavy. It feels pretty heavy, and I tend to agree. It came with a Trollmaster throttle control, which is a plus, and we’d want a new one if we replace the kicker.
I’m thinking seriously of trading it in, for something lighter, that is compatible with a Trollmaster. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated. Also, any Green Bay outboard motor stores you might be able to recommend would be fantastic. Thanks so much! Prof
