i would wait till i heard or seen them again. its alot easier to call coyotes that are up and active than when they are resting or holed up. i’ve had coyotes 200 yards from me laying down and have watched them not move a muscle with someone throwing everything in the book at them. i think they get this way when they have been called at to much. if this becomes the case i like to set up well before sun up when that sun rises i’ll go to calls i know they haven’t heard before. sometimes the best call on pressured coyotes is a soft squeker. but if you have the e caller option the pup distress finishes more wary coyotes than anything i use. not sure why it works so well, but by far my go to call when the coyotes start getting smart
