Any reason they discontinued the lithium lazer? I just bought one last year and loved it, albeit the better indicator didn’t work after less then an hour of drilling. Strikemaster replaced without a question. What happens in the future when people need new batteries or parts?

Yea I tried to snag it. Who knows where it layed to rest. Yea I would be interested in the walleye rod. Pm me details of the rod..size, inside or outside recoils? It is what it is…I’m more bummed out I can not go get the same rod tomorrow lol

Now I’m pist! My eyes on mine are pretty shaky as well! I have not used it yet as I got it for christmas! I just looked over mine after reading this post and my 1st eye is bent to the right and does not match up with the other 2 eyes…I guess not really huge problem but when someone purchased it for 50 bucks it should be built correctly! I didn’t even want the Rod but Gander does not carry real weeds anymore and that was my second option….

Yes sir, My Wonderfull Mother got me a new St.Croix Legend ice rod to team up with my new Power Noodle …Thanks Mom!!! Also, she wanted to get me the Reel Weeds but I guess Gander does not carry them anymore ….so she gave me a cabelas gift card !! She’s to good to me!!!

I guess I can’t compare because I have only used the Fl-20! This week I will be fishing with my Buddy that recently got the Lx5 so we will see how it goes! The one down fall I have about my Vex is sometimes on sharp breaks-rocky area’s I have trouble reading bottom correctly and that absolutly sucks….who wants to jig when there jig goes 5 feet through the bottom red!!! Most of the guys on Ido will tell you there Honest opinion unlike Mn-Fishin where they go to great lenghs to sponser ONLY there prodcuts!!!

Hey AverageSportsman, I got FL-20 Ultra pack brand new last year and new case for it this year! Once you get the replacement from Marcum I’ll trade you straight up! Hit me up if interested! Oh yea I really want a new LX-5 if anyone knows anyone who wants a Fl-20 and Case I just want enough or close to the price of a new LX-5!

Thanks for the help! Everts is only a 15-20 minute drive so I will get down there ASAP! I’m sure he’s pretty busy this time of year but I’ll call to make sure he’s around before I head down! Also just wanted to say Rainy Lake ROCKS and was up there this winter a few times ice fishing, I absolutly love that lake and will be going up there every year for the rest of my life! Next year I will make a better effort to say hello as I seen you the 1st time up but didn’t get out of the portable, it was COLD out lol!
