I’m in need of a new trailer in the next 2-3 days.

Mine decided to flip on its side on the way back from Canada yesterday (very little damage to the boat)So I need to buy one so that I can go get my boat.

I have an older 16′ alumacraft – it doesn’t get used very much, maybe 10 times per year – Every trip is at least an hour drive, including 3-4 trips per year to Canada(30-40 miles of gravel roads)

Question 1 – for my boat, rollers or bunks

Question 2 – what name brand (EZ Loader/Shorelander/Karavan/etc?

Question 3 – who has the best deals (new trailer wasn’t part of my plans for the trip)

    Thanks again

I guess I was looking for the most important features. For instance, is the # of pixels on your display more important than the # of watts in your signal strength? (fishmark 320 vs garmin 240) and then how do you compare these to a Bottom Line ?

    Thanks for the info!

There’s also a anchor that is similar to the Richter, I believe its called the Super Anchor. I just purchased the Richter 25#

I was at the cabin on Long Lake in Washburn County – our temps ranged from 49-53 degrees. We were fising for eye’s and ended up with a couple of largemouth in the 3-4# range.

These look like they’ll hold, but do they let go? At $60 a pop, that’s a bunch bait/lures

I used to sell them (even though I still don’t have one) Do your research. Some have a small window to return them (only paying for the calls you made)- So check with your company, order it, and then make a road trip to your most frequent locations. One myth is, if there is a tower near bye, that you can use it (not always the truth- it depends on the contracts between companies)
Everybody has ups and downs. And most bills have charges that shouldn’t be there, so understand your contract might also be committing you to place a call to them to figure things out once per month.

    Here is my pitch:

look at the ratio of minutes during the week vs. weekend and break it down per day – they’ll give you a million minutes on the weekend, but only 100 during the week – If you use $20-30 amonth in long distance from your house its a no brainer

Pick the lesser of 2 evils!!

    Good Luck
