Right on, that is what I was trying to accomplish but without a ram. I was hoping to use 2 Cisco’s but there is a ballzout mount that has a lot of adjustments to it which I can see needing. The ballzout are pretty spendy though.

No I didn’t have to take the rails off. If I remember correctly I bought the ram rail mount cap which matched up with the Cabelas base. It is clamped on by 4 bolts. To put the tape on I just cut a piece an inch wide by roughly 4″ long and wrapped it on the rail. J used 2 of these pieces of tape per base and they are holding good. I will look for pics if you would like.

I have the Cabelas quick draws and the ram rod holders mounted on the rails. When I installed them I used a rough non slip tape on the rail and the clamped onto that. This kept them from rotating on the rail. I have been happy with both of these brands.

I hope to find out this week. I had a question on my hull which I asked the local dealer. They referred me straight to skeeter, and waiting on a call back from them.
