No Problem Popcorn! Just glad we could get it back to you.
My friend Chuck, whom you met tonight, was the one who posted on facebook. I posted on IDO.
Happy fishing.
Bite was good. Found some fish away from the crowd. Lots of gills and a few nice perch.
Glad we found the owner cause I’d be crying if I lost what he lost.
Fearless by Eric Blehm. Excellent!
Madhouse at the End of the Earth by Julian Sancton.
The Twenty-Ninth Day: Surviving a Grizzly Attack in the Canadian Tundra by Alex Messenger.
Fearless is about Navy Seal Adam Brown…best book I ever read.
The other 2 are Wildernesstrue stories and very good too.
Tim,
Are you able to get Mega DI to read using the 2 Mega SI transducers? I need to call Humminbird as I do not get Mega DI using the 2 SI ducers reading left and right. I know the graphs work with DI as they work off the trolling motor DI ducer.
Thx
Tim,
If you are close to Brainerd I’d recommend Andy from Fish Electronics. He did not install mine but was the one that told me about how to rig it up. He is not affiliated with the Fish Electronics in Spring Lake Park.
Good luck
Tim,
Your pic is exactly how mine is setup. Not sure why HB tech support would tell you its not possible. You will need the “Y” to connect the 2 SI ducers.
Unfortunately I had to send my new HB unit back to HB as the SD card slot does not work. So will have to wait until it comes back to see how the SI works.
Tim,
My 2 (right and left) SI units are hooked up together with a Y cable. So I have one SI cable and 1 high speed ducer that runs to the back of my Helix 12 Mega SI G3 unit.
I have not been on the water yet to see how it works yet.
I ran into the same issue with my 1875. After talking to a few Humminbird electronics pros I’ve decided to go with 2 SI transducers. One on the left and one on the right of the transom. Installing this month. Will let you know how it goes.
I ended up going with Tackle Shacks live pole mount…mounts to my Ultrex where the 360 mounts…works independently of the Ultrex…putting a Helmsmate telescopic handle extension on it. T
Will put pics up when the Helmsmate comes in.
I only have experience with one brand and that’s Millenium. I have both the 20’ single and double and absolutely love both. Seat is rediculously comfortable. Very quiet when going up and down. I can sit all day in them. Both require at least 2 adults to put up.
Downside is they are expensive.
Picked up my Pro V Bass 1875 with a Merc 150 Pro XS 3 weeks ago and am happy to report its “Awesome”. I have 2 Talons on back and can still pull tubers without hitting the Talons. On plane in seconds. Handles rough water very well. Tons of storage. Everything I had stored in my Skeeter with no extra room can fit in the Pro V Bass with 3 compartments not even used. Loads easy. With Troll Control I can get down to 2.5 mph on calm day…use the Ultrex to troll slower. This boat has been a dream compared to my Skeeter ZX200.
Just an FYI if your looking at one of these boats. It’s a great all around boat.
