Thanks for the replies guys…Scott, the things you mentioned are some of the things that I have encountered…

It’s good to try to have some sort of idea before you get to the lake, that is if you want to run segemented…I’m sure that I won’t be buying 10 reels with different lengths set up…

let me ask another question…if you were going 2 mph with a #5 SSR, how many colors (segemented) would you guys run to get it to run 30 feet down?…again assuming the same 40 foot 10# vanish leader?

Hi Jon…I like using leeches eraly all the time as well…last year if the bite slowed down a little early season we tried crawlers and that’s what was happening to us…

once the water warms up we start moving out as well…I was trying to compare set-ups once that time comes…Thanks!!!!

so if cedar is 16.1 & miile lacs is 12.9, does that mean that there are 25% more walleyes per acre on cedar than there are on mille lacs?…can that be possible?

thanks for the posts!!!…I’m getting the boat outta storage this weekend and will check it out…i’m right handed so I’m thinking that the left side might work best…I wanted to avoid putting more electronics back there, but I can already see which way this is going to have to go…thanks again!!!

I did this to my boat last year…I have a 03 Explorer 1800 with a single console…I tried to go through Lund but I didn’t get to far with them…they wern’t able to tell me if what they had would work for my boat…Then I saw one installed in a boat in the showroom at a Lund dealership off of 61 in WBL..I can’t remember the name, but ordered one from them that I saw would work in my boat…I had to cusutomize it a little, but it was a very easy install…i think that it cost around $125 and I absolutelly love it!!!

i used mine this weekend (Lakemaster) and it seemed like it was about a foot off throughout the lake…i asked a few guys if the water level was down a foot this year and they didn’t know…other than that it worked really well and helped us get a ton of fish on breaks that i would have never been able to foloow without it
