One of my buddies went down to West Newton yesterday. He said it was slow. A couple guys were pulling up bluegills but nothing special. The magic color there was purple.
I was out there friday. People were driving on it then. The ice was thick I dont know how thick but my truck didnt go through. Didnt hook up with any fish but was still fun.
Thanks HOF and Bill for the good advice I will try the run and gun aproach I think. I dont know if I could sit in one spot to long at Silver Lake. Im afraid I might be the only one fishing there.
Well the pike are biteing really good on the Nelson dike road now!!!! But, you may need to fight for a spot! Also Im sure wilcox is pretty productive right about now too. All you need to do is find some shallow weed beds!!
Thanks Mike, Ive read these forums for awhile and finaly decided to join in. But anywho, I went to the Nelson Dike road and the pike are starting to bite alittle bit down there. Its still abit slow though!
