Thank you for all your input thus far. I should clarify that I plan to target other species and not just crappie and walleye. I target whitefish as well and I want to go for perch and bass this coming season.

I own a 24″ ML St. Croix Legend Silver as well as other rods, but that was what I mainly used for my ice fishing trips the last 2-3 seasons. It has served me well, but I would like a longer rod for my main rod.
