I’ve kinda noticed the same thing. I have two groups that seem to come through on alternating days. One with 3 smaller 6’s and 4’s, the other with 4 nice 8+’s
August 8, 2008 at 12:24 pm #36693my avatar is a Phacops Rana Crassituberculana.
It’s a species of trilobite that I collect. Some of the best preserved fossils in the world. They have been renamed Eldgredgeops rana but I stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the change since all my id’s and email addresses would have to change.
They are my little superstars. I’ve seen my “bugs” on numerous tv shows and even have two of mine that are part of a larger collection in the Smithsonian.August 4, 2008 at 7:02 pm #36597I’ve also got one of those “heat activated” drips that I was going to put up as soon as I started seeing scrapes and rubs. Do you think it will help?
July 25, 2008 at 3:02 pm #36481just posted some pics of a nice one I got with my camera and it’s a flash. I have pictures of him 4 of the last 7 days and they have all been at night so it hasn’t spook him yet.
April 28, 2008 at 10:07 am #35819seen these kind of pics before. From what I’ve heard, when they install the lines, they are draped across the poles with slack in them. Then they pull them tight from an end (or at least from a distance). Periodically animals get tangled in the lines while they are still on the ground and get hoisted up when the tighten the lines. One of the previous links might have explained this but honestly, I didn’t check any of them.
November 17, 2006 at 11:08 pm #500791I read this article yesterday. snopes has a link to the actuall motion to dismiss filed by his lawyer. In short, he’s saying that a dead deer isn’t really an animal since Webster’s defines an animal as a living thing. So since the deer was dead there can be no charge of sexual gratification with an animal. He even went as far as to quote the movie “The Princess Bride” by saying “As Billy Crystal noted in The Princess Bride (1987), ‘There’s a big difference between mostly dead and all dead.'”

November 14, 2006 at 1:25 pm #499266Unfortunetly, I can’t say that this is mine but this monster was taken last week (11-8-06) by a co-worker, Terry Martin. He has been chasing this buck for the last three years. Plenty of trail cam shots of him but he never presented himself, until last Wednessday. He was actually a little bigger last year but still a great buck!
I’ll get the full story for you guys a little later today.November 14, 2006 at 1:25 pm #24896Unfortunetly, I can’t say that this is mine but this monster was taken last week (11-8-06) by a co-worker, Terry Martin. ..for those times you need to find that “perfect” spot.January 31, 2006 at 2:08 pm #416219I have a friend who sells computers. He primarily sells to small/medium business systems but will be able to help you out with a home computer. Just tell him what you want/need and he’ll set you up with some different options. If you find something you like, he’ll send it right to your front door. linky There are plenty of other places to find what your looking for but he can usually match or beat anyone elses prices and you get some great personal service. Just drop him an email and tell him Randy sent ya and he’ll be able to help you out nicely.
January 10, 2006 at 3:05 pm #410661thanks for the welcome guys. Actually my co worker is a rep for buckmasters and bought this bow a few years back then won another one at an archery competition a few weeks later so it hasn’t ever been hunted with and he said that he only shot it a handfull of times. I think he gave it to me just to get another person into bowhunting and to clean out his closet. The later of which is probably the main reason for giving it to me.
when you say “tuned properly”, what do you mean? what things should I look for and how do I “tune it in”?January 10, 2006 at 3:05 pm #13942thanks for the welcome guys. Great memories are the best trophy you can take away from any hunt.January 9, 2006 at 6:42 pm #13909Great story and an even better moral to it. Just goes to show all you guys out there that you don’t have to harvest anything to have a “successfull hunt”.

If you can’t find any around maybe you could consider buying a cheap wooden seat cover (lowes has some for around $9) and taking the ones of off that. I think the plastic ones are glued on but the wood ones are usually screwed/pegged. Kind of a hassle I know but it’s better than shelling out even more money for another “moose” seat.
December 6, 2005 at 12:52 pm #401547sounds like I need to go out and buy some red shirts.
Thanks for sharing this.November 24, 2005 at 1:47 am #398977I’m sure this is all stuff you already know but here’s the definition out of Mosby’s Medical Dictionary:
a rare malignant tumor of the mesothelium of the pleura or peritoneum, associated with exposure to asbestos. The lesion, composed of spindle cells or fibrous tissue, may form thick sheets covering the vicera. If there is a possibility that an exposure to asbestos has coused the problem, there are doctors that specialize in asbestos cancers. Perhaps a search on the doctors that treat these cancers may provide some options.
