Did you make it out yesterday? If so, is it a bad omen to the rest of us that you didn’t give an update…aka did you float away?

Brian: I already spoke with Lonnie and they are definitely willing to sell me a predator blank (awesome guys at Thorne’s). My only set back is the cost right now ($266 for the blank alone, which means a build cost of around $320). I’ve already determined that if I use the rod I’m about to build enough, then I will build on a predator blank.

Thanks for all the info guys! Looks like I have a decision to make. If I remember, I’ll post an update after I build the rod and I’ll give my 2 cents.

Does anyone know how much snow there is on the lake? I’m wondering how many pounds I will lose while dragging my ice house out there.
