I use the boat through out the winter when I can.

I share a well and sewer with my neighbor They’re nice so I only ask for cash a few months a year. If the well was not on my property I would have drilled my own years ago.
Humans have never been able to share anything without fighting.

I used a 2013 50 horse etech for two years and it was junk. Not to mention they stink. Slow too.

Only my second year hand lining but this Rapala is catching a lot the past week.

I had Window World out of Lacrosse put my windows in 4 years ago and am very satisfied.

Been flooded for over a week.

Rumors. Too bad they can’t shut down social media for a few weeks.

The only thing stressing me out is a potential shelter in place order. Gonna be stressful for lots of people here if we are all placed on house arrest during the peak of the walleye run. People spreading rumors on social media about it being imminent doesn’t help.

Most of the good spots are inaccessible by foot right now. Little john boats with go devils and hovercrafts are getting to them. The spots that are accessible by foot are visible from the highways and get pounded pretty hard. Sure miss winter!

Maybe you just got a bad. With all the competition out there they could be sitting on the shelves too long. Mine is from when they were the hot auger to have and still works like new at 7 years. One thing I’ve never done is charge it in the summer like some do. Not sure it hurts but don’t think it helps. Hope the new one lasts longer

Looks like a yellow jacket to me. Like Dan said pulling the foam to find the entrance to the nest and pouring some sort of poison in after dark is your best option.

For yellow jackets I use permethrin concentrate. Mix some with water and pour down the hole. Gets deep and kills em all.

I’m not sure how it is on pool 4 but down here on 9 it’s real nice. Getting on and off the river is a pain but seeing all the wood ducks while listening to Bob Uecker makes it all worthwhile!

I hear what you’re saying about going on you’re own but between not being familiar with the area and enjoying a bunch of beers throughout the day we opted to let someone else drive. At least for the first day.
