Norsk’s have 2 USB ports directly on them, could be helpful if you use them… I’m an Amped guy, never an issue…

The USB Port’s on a Norsk are pretty useless when the battery is going to be hidden inside of a shuttle without access to those ports. When it comes to your live imaging batteries Amped, Norsk, and Dakota Lithium are all very comparable and will do you well.

In my personal use and retail experience Amped is by far the most popular and has had the least amount of problems.

The original odyssey is more stiff then all of the new odyssey’s. Still very light but not as sensitive as the 32″ Odyssey super noodle or the 36″ and 40″ It’s usually my designated 1/32 oz-1/16 oz pinhead mino/spoon rod. 32″ super noodle get’s a small tungsten and my 36″ usually get’s a bigger tungsten tied on.

Thanks B man. It looks like the xl only has three slots. At least in the pics online. I have 2 36 panfish rods that always have to be with me and a couple shorter ones so that should work. May need to make a stopper for those rods so the don’t slide up and break a tip.

New for 2022. The XL now holds 4 rods.

Small snaps for spoons but jigs I tie direct to.

I always start with plastics. If I don’t have to use live bait then I won’t.

I have 13 Elliott’s and 4 2B love them! Bought doubles of a few of my favorites to avoid running into availability issues if something were to happen.

That’s what chirp on your unit is for. It’s interference rejection. Shouldn’t be an issue.

Dakota Angler has a ton of Pinhead Minos. Even have exclusive Wonderbread and chartreuse Wonderbread colors! Super fast shipping too.

Interesting these guys slayed the crappie with the Pinhead Minnos yesterday with NO bait.

He didn’t specify but he was actually using the Jointed Pinhead Minno. Appeared to be chartreuse/orange glow color.

Looks like he’s using the yellow bass exclusive from clear lake tackle.

Perch Patrol, when I scroll up on this thread I see that you had no difficulty ordering Pinhead Minnows with “exclusive colors” from Dakota Anglers on the internet.

They’re right up the road from me actually. Just wanted fellow fisherman aware they ship fast. But good attempt at an insult.

I have never seen a Cecil in a tackle store. I see Pinhead in every tackle store I go. Sometimes I like having a lure that works that’s also available to buy in stores instead of hunt down on the internet.

The three stores closest to me all carry them. Any tackle shop that carries Custom Jigs & Spins® products should have them. Quite common around here, your area must be different. I would not dismiss a product just because it may be uncommon to a given area. In fact, the very fact that it appears to be uncommon (for the area) would be a reason to try it. The “hot lure” can often be, the one the fish don’t see all the time.

I’ve honestly never seen them. Could very well be an area thing.

JUST a thought but the Pinhead Minnow seems to be nothing but a heavier Little Cecil or that type of lure. I haven’t used the Pinhead Minnow enough to form a definite opinion on it, but I can’t see how in shallow water it’s any more effective than a Cecil.

I have 2 deadstiks, the savant, and the ultimate nood. Zero complaints. Well built rods for the price. Super lightweight and custom feel without the custom price.

What are you fav models in the collection?

44 Lite is probably my favorite. Also love the noodle lite but I think the 42 noodle will soon replace that as a favorite.

That Elliot 44 light looks super nice! What types of lures you guys planning for these

I love mine. I bought 10 Elliott’s this year. The light I used for perch a couple weeks ago, was awesome. Incredible action.

Glad I’m not the only one with an insane Elliott collection.
