Do they catch trout and salmon in the harbor? I have fished in the fall but would be much funner through the ice. Its too long to wait for fall to roll around. What do they catch them on.

Joe, what part do you fish the big part or the little back part. Only ice fished it once on the little back part down the bank from the train. Cought some real nice perch and one little eye. its a nice short drive for me. If you fish most the lakes around here do you ever get to altoona, would like to know how the bite is out there.

Shiner,how was your deer hunting this year. My dad and I were the guys at your campsite the night before opener. Other wise known as Adam Giffords cuz. ( dont hold it agents me if you dont like him). We drove by and seen some deer hanging but everyone was still in the woods. Is Elk Lake all you fish this time of year or is Red Wing still open. Would likt to try fishing E.L. but i would have to ask Adam to go with becouse i know nothing about the lake. Good luck if you go out.

A, you better not be puting meat out for bears in wisconsin. B you want to talk about land. I have never hunted private land for deer, our cabin is on the border of the clark county forest. No one in our cabin baits and everyone seemed to harvest a buck never the less except. not a piece of corn in sight. It isnt that hard to figure out where the deer are and arnt . I realy dont care if you bait or not, i just fell that “ring the dinner bell” isnt necessary to harvest a deer.

In my eyes and everyone at our deer camp, thinks that bait should be prohibited in every county in every state. Bait is a sign of a bad hunnter or a lazy one.
