Landing was still froze up yesterday. Main channel was open out front but looked to be frozen again from north of sunkin barge to downtown st paul. Not sure how the upper river was looking.
Just need to do the quick slide and jump with your boat.

how are you going to deal with all of the mud and mess in the boat?

I just bought the GHG Dog blind…the bigger of their two. (17″) tall. It is too short for my tall lab. even when he tries to crawl in, his back hits the top and the whole blind lifts up when he tries to scoot in…….Anybody use the avery finisher blind????? I stayed away from that one because of all the negative comments on the fiberglass rods breaking at the hubs. Anybody know if this is fixed, or have any personal experience with it?
What about other brands? I need a taller one, for an 85 lb lab. Thanks for any info!
that is pretty normal for a taller dog. it shouldn’t matter how they fit standing up in the blind, as the dog should be laying down in it anyways.
if you start getting too tall with the blind, it will stand out in the field, regardless of how well you grass it.

for optimal performance with a surface drive, you will want a bigger boat. the longer and wider, the better they perform.
i shoot 3 inch, 1 1/4 oz BB, through a mod or improved mod choke, all year long, for everything.
nice looking pup! what are the lines?
and if you follow a good training program, you won’t need to carry a pocket full of rocks…
if someone can get a “for sure thing” lined up, i’ll go, otherwise i will be boating/fishing/camping, etc.

post up a link, or the pedigrees, and i can look it over for you.
nice!
opener was good for us this year too. water levels are unreal!
right click on the desktop (where all of the icons are)
select “properties”
click the “settings” tab
slide the resolution slider tab to the desired view setting. 1024 x 768 and larger is the typical setting.
click OK, and you should be good to go.

Everyone should watch a documentary called the Pig Bomb. It’s a classic example of what happens when an animal population isn’t kept at safe levels.
Wasn’t that about introduced non-native Russian pigs?
that was a great show!

It works, but I would rather prevent it than to have to rub one out.
Sorry, couldn’t help myself.
collars and tags are like leg/neck bands on a duck. and i would shoot a duck with “jewelry” every chance i get.
i spent a lot of time on the water this past weekend, and there are a lot of areas that typically are dry ground, that have 5+ feet of water over it.
i think something else that needs to be factored in, is just how wet everything is south of us. I just cannot see the dams letting the water through at anything but a slow pace.
i’m guessing it will still be up substantially until the end of october.

What’s a crick ???
Definitions of crick:
A crick is longer and deeper than a brook, but not as wide as a creek.
Not to be confused with a JJKrook.
Everyone knows that!

It just keeps training to the south of us here. Southern Minnesota is getting drenched.
that is not always a bad thing, with hunting season here…

Some neat stuff for apps….but easy phone tunes was awesome for converting my i-pod library.NFL app and PDA.net for tether are my most used. I need to keep a better eye out for updates on the apps as well.I primarily just use my existing bookmarks for weather and river stages.
if anyone wants, i have a hack for the phone, so you can tether natively and utilize the wireless hotspot for free.
just can’t get carried away with tethering, that way they can’t catch you doing it.

I think he’s sharper than we give him credit.
NO,not a snowballs chance in hell!!!!!!!!!
yeah, sharp like a rock…
my opinion (without owning either), is they are both very comparable, but you tend to get more for your money with a skeeter. Ranger’s prices seem too inflated.
