Delaney practically lives on the water and ice of Door County, Wis. No matter the season, Paul’s clients pull big fish from the waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan.

His favorite speciesto chase, “without a doubt,” is smallmouth bass. “Casting for smallmouth bass in shallow water is, by far, my favorite way to fish for them,” he says. “Especially when I can sight fish them.” In the winter months, Paul spends most days on the ice, guiding clients for many different species, including walleye,
whitefish, pike and panfish. His favorite species to catch through the ice is bluegill.
