I launched there last weekend. Ranger 621. No problems and no green stuff hanging off everything.

I have one but thankfully have not used one. I ice fish by myself frequently, so it is an insurance policy. Furthermore, I bought it at Mills for 440.00.

I fish Farm Island a lot. Good walleye lake, with most of my success coming off mid-lake weed edges. Wind is important, and fish the windy side. I have on occasion found walleyes suspended over deep water at the depth the weeds grow to. There are some rock humps that can be good, but day in and day out the weed line is the ticket. Wind is key, not very good in flat calm conditions. Had good success throwing a shiver minnow out into deep water near a weed bed also. Good Luck!

It was on a 2017 Ranger 621FS w/350 Verado. Bought a different boat and this prop was not the one for the new boat.

Give Capt John Pounders a call @ 504-382-2268. Been fishing with him for years. I have never fished that time frame but he is a straight shooter and won’t lie to you. Hate to be a name dropper but tell him Paul from Minnesota referred you to him.

Got a Ranger 621 Pro being rigged as we speak. I traded a 2017 621 in for 26000.00 to boot. Added somethings to bring that to boot price up and with the idea this is my last new boat. No one believes me but we will see. The price keeps climbing so fast one is almost is forced in to trading every few years to keep the trade price down.

A product called “Ducky” works well on my boat. Gander Outdoors carries it.

Cape Town, South Africa. A buddy and I had just completed a safari and were supposed to fly home the next day. Needless to say we did not. As we roamed around the town killing time we were asked what America was going to do. An elderly lady running a shop had tears in her eyes when she asked me. I said we are going to bury our dead, clean up the mess and go get the SOB’s that did this. Her response was God Bless America. Still feels like yesterday.

I have used them in heavy snow and in snow with slush underneath. Never got stuck but may have had to back out and get another run in the slush. Happened once on Farm Island but I got to where I wanted to go and back off again with a buddy on the back and pulling a sled. I had a guy chase me down after I got off Lake Francis down here in SM and ask me what I had on the atv. He had watched me going across the lake and it had heavy snow on it that year.

I have a set I use on my 2007 Polaris X2 800. They work as advertised at least in my experience. Have not used them in a couple of years mainly because there has been no need.
