The walleye fishing at Pasha Lake cabins has been absolutely unreal!!! Onoman lake has been producing amazing numbers with the average fish being 19-23 inches! With a couple big girls thrown in the mix! Get ahold of Chad, owner of Pasha Lake’s for more details on an amazing experience and a lifetime of memories!
July 5, 2018 at 5:07 pm #1784075Hi Ryan –
Very convenient lodge on Orient Bay. The couple there is a on the older side, but the husband (forgot his name) is very knowledgeable about the lake.
It’s not 5 star – but none of us are in these parts. I think youll find their cabins clean and comfortable.
You’ll have to trailer to the River – give yourself at least an hour depending on where you launch. The road there is in rough shape – and the beavers aren’t helping.
Good luck on your adventure.
June 26, 2018 at 8:57 am #1782508James – you realize you’ve spent more time on Nipigon in the last 24 months than I have. Something about that doesn’t seem right!
Fun to have the boys and you up. Great times, big fish, more memories. Can’t wait til next time.

Been a while since I’ve been in here. See some familiar faces, it’s like a good ol’ fashion IDO/Pasha home coming
Only word that comes to mind is WOW. You guys spanked the fish of a life time on several day trips and didn’t even allow filming. So cool, yet probably really hard to do.
It was a blast having IDO here, enjoyed meeting everyone on staff, Herbster and of course John. mid week I was getting a little envious about the fishing you guys were doing – since I kept failing to make it in the boat with you. The nightly stories were excruciatingly painful and pleasureful all at the same time
In the end though – McSharry, Mr. Anderson and I ended up on a distant remote lake. It was a blast! And although Team IDO was well represented, I do believe Team Pasha eked out a few more whitetails then the opposition. Props to McSharry for trying to make up the deficiency with a pike, but obviously to no avail.
CAN’T WAIT UNTIL 2018!!!!!!!
November 27, 2016 at 8:43 pm #1652910Hi Shady 5
At Pasha Lake we have 50amp hook ups and water. We also have a main lodge for showers and restrooms.
We mainly fish Lake Nipigon and inland lakes.
Curious – what do you guys use for a boat given your RV situation? How do you work the fishing logistics?
October 10, 2016 at 2:20 pm #1644153Hey James awesome read. I couldn’t have captured it any better.
It was way cool to have everything to come together and the bonus was catching huge Pike and Walleyes
Look forward to our 50 week reunion
PS. attached is the monster that was harvested that day you got here

June 5, 2016 at 7:38 am #1622896Yes – given the monsoon conditions of the last week and a half, the ban is lifted. Now we just need a boat to float down the logging roads!
May 28, 2016 at 7:23 am #1621707Hi Mudneck Joe
Yes, we do daily charter trips to Nipigon, mainly from May to July. The bite is currently red hot. 2016 trips so far guests have been treated to multiple double digits days, with frequent specks 20″ and up. Biggest this year was boated last week, just under 24″.
The best bite of the year and most action is happening now and will last another 2 weeks or so. Then, once the walleye season opens on Nipigon, will be chasing walleye’s.
PM me or call me anytime 715 817 4161
Thanks, Chad
PS – I don’t think Barry is guiding anymore, I heard he hung it up but not 100% sure.

Let the season begin!
May 2, 2016 at 9:41 am #1616835May 2, 2016 at 9:38 am #1616832Starting to see signs of life (open water) around Nipigon. Headed up tomorrow for the season. Predict my first heart thumping laker boated be 5:05 pm on Wed after COB.

April 21, 2016 at 9:28 am #1614916I wouldn’t count on media to inform the public. Media needs to sell ads, their business model demands it. They don’t care who buys them.
We do however have this wonderful little device that allows us to tell the world of injustice in an instance. Get down there and record, and show it to the world. Upload and grow a voice so big the media can no longer ignore it.
My 2 cents….
April 20, 2016 at 3:28 pm #1614794This is the best site you’ll find for Ontario lakes… no contours but great detail…
Good Luck
