Had the same conversation with DNR earlier this week, it sounds like the vendor they use for the stickers is having a material shortage. She said that is why the renewals have not been sent out yet. The gal also said that if i got stopped and got a ticket for expired registration to email it to them and they would take care of it. Really?? Why not just tell your officers to not give out tickets for this until it is resolved!

I had those same style walkers 3 or 4 yrs ago for shooting sporting clays, I was very impressed with how they worked for the price, only downside was battery life wasn’t the greatest (I want to say 2hrs was about max, maybe less). I am sure that has improved by now.

I use an 8, however you need 10 if you want to put it into landscape mode.
I run mine with a 9G3N and I wouldn’t go any smaller, you can get a summit shuttle or an arc shuttle and they fit great in the clam flasher bag. I would think a Helix 7 would be small. Once you get everything it isn’t very mobile to begin with so I wouldn’t skimp on the screen.

Summit Fishing makes a boat mount that looks like it has a few options as far as different ways to mount.
I dont have a boat so I havent looked into this too much but Im sure there are more permanent ways to do this.
Garmin does make it easy with the Quick Release bail mounts, you can purchase an extra one for your boat so you arent pulling this one in and out of the ice kit.
