I switched my Chocolatye from IAMS to Nutra its a Hoilistic dog food with all natural ingredients, all organic. She responed well. They also have a puppy addition. That I hear nothing but good about.

I have a friend that shows Mastiffs they are national champs with a private trainer, this lady knows her stuff. Digestive wise this is the best I have seen stools are always firm which makes clean up nice and easy. Plus her intake went from 3.5 cups to 2 cups aday 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening. Along with supplements in the hunting seson, she acts like a 2 year old. She will be 11 this spring.

I would seriously consider holistic or all organic for many healthy years

I consider this global warming BS and if they have good shad too eat that is why they are big..

I say no global warming added to this site for it is a hotly debated politcal scam.

Yeast infection, my female lab has this problem from time to time. Keep the ears clean, but go to the vet and get a prescription for an anti-biotic then refill at pet meds .com half the price as vets. There alot of good cleaners you can buy over the counter at any pet store. Squirt it in there ears and use a cotton ball to wipe out the gunk.

My Lab Abby is healthy now, but I can see the hips are getting old and tired. I know in a few years I will asked to make that decision, and I am not afraid to admit I will cry as if losing my dad and mom.

My thoughts go out to you today and I share your loss.

Yes you are right Rob, I guess I am still upset that we had good fishing in both locations Devils Lake and Mille Lacs and the dang motor went to hell.
    Having trouble getting past that,

    Have a great week

I base my decision on overall performance and reliability.

I fished with a friend on the Lowrance pro team tour Devils Lake, we lost 3 days pre fishing to his Mercury opti, We where on the phone with Merc, and Frankies, and the local repair shop none could diagnose the problem, Then we ended up spearing a wave and filling that Ranger 620 with about 12″ of water. Well on to the Wave Wacker.

We had the boat into Frankies for about a week before pre fishing for the Wacker. When he got the boat back they said they had the problem fixed, we fished hard with poor motor performance, and even broke the motor mount on the merc bigfoot kicker what a pain that was, back to Frankies, to get that fixed and look at the opti.

Day two of the Wacker with a good day one weight, we blow the damn motor on our way to take off at 6:30 am. Season over.

Merc ended replacing a $7,000.00 head. But we lost over 2 grand in tourney fees and hotel costs.

AND DID NOT OTHER PROS BLOW UP THER OPTIS???

I will fish Yammy all the way.

    Thanks for my venting

A consistent fishing spot, that is a great question, I would suggest buying a book about walleyes if thats the fish you prefere to fish and understand their habits.Walleyes are attracted to different types of structure at different times in the year. Look for saddles, sharp drops, Humps in deep water, humps in an open area. A small rock pile in a sandy area next to deep water will hold fish nearly all year
Study your prey and keep fishing

Wats, Sounds like your a tough SOB but back injurys are not to be played with. Get yourself some help sounds like you have alot of friends here on IDA who want to hang out with you. Besides, you cant make money sitting in your chair, and that doesnt sound like the kind of man you are.
    Take care and get healthy.

As to catching more or less fish I dont know if two lines would make a difference. However!!! As to only keeping one limit of fish is a LAW we see broken alot, we need the DNR to apply the laws already on the books and enforce those.
Then maybe a “limit” would be easier to obtain. I understand this is a little of subject, read in the back of outdoor news cuffs and collars there are plenty of people fishing more than two lines ice fishing and open water.

I say this is one law or privledge we dont need.just my $.02 worth.

    Thank You eyedoctor2
