I have a Tyee 1900 with a 150 Merc. Have no problem cruising with six adults in the boat. You should be fine.

I have two seasons on my 2018 Tyee 1900 with a Merc 150. I live in New Hampshire and have the boat on the Connecticut River for most of the summer. I’ve also spent many days on Lake Winnipesaukee (26 miles long) on rough water amongst the 40-foot big guys. I’d have no fear running it on Lake Champlain, or even in-shore on Lake Ontario (within sight of land). Lots of room and great storage space. Very solid and stable boat! Good luck!

I’m on my 2nd season with a Tyee 1900. We love the boat. Came with a Mercury 150 and tops out at about 45 mph. Lots of the dealers from the Midwest go up to 200hp and a kicker. I would say pass on the 115.

I have an Ulterra 80# bow mount on a 19′ Tyee. First trip out trolling we set the MinnKota pointing straight ahead on constant speed and used the big motor as a rudder. Worked great! Sat in the pilots seat and made minor steering changes.

Installation complete. Tight, but it fit. Manual didn’t say, but the initial charge on new, flooded lead-acid batteries can be up to 20 hours (vs normal 6 hour duration).

Thanks for the reply. I guess we’ll lust need to be careful with the trim when the seat is in place. We do a lot of fishing on the Connecticut river, and some of the setbacks get pretty shallow. The boat came with a factory SS prop, don’t want to ding it.

I’ll check with the dealer on the curtains and bow cover.

Thanks for the reply. The dealer replied to me this week, said that Lund designed the battery compartment with space at the front for the charger. He said that there’s no issue with over-temp. makes the install very easy, just need to drill four holes for machine screws. I also looked at a couple of the dealer walk-through videos on YouTube, and they also poined out that location for the charger.
