I’ve been searching the web for this very same issue and landed on this page. I had my Hellcat OSP (optic ready) for two weeks and three range sessions trying to break it in when the plate and screws exploded of the slide. The plate thankfully went sideways, but one of the screws hit my glasses where it would’ve hit my eyeball. I emailed them right away and their response was, “We’ll send you out some new screws, and make sure to add a little blue Loctite to them”. That got my blood boiling since it seems that they didn’t take the time to read the email and all the info of how it hit my glasses hard enough to gouge them! I emailed back and forth with them until the rep said to send it to them. Didn’t offer a shipping label…nothing. I had to tell him that I was not about to pay to send them something brand new and defective on their watch. I had even sent them pictures of the screws clearly showing they were stripped. I have absolutely no confidence in their product, especially since it was to be my EDC. At this point I would rather they bought it and the extra magazines back so I can also go to the 365.
