I’m in the same boat Jaxson. I haven’t had any issues with the rocker switch sticking. Plus if the battery is disconnected when stored would it still short out? Doesn’t seem to be any info about this anywhere other than here

I feel like these baits are easy to over work. Have yet to catch anything on em. I won’t give up on them though.

Thanks for all the tips guys. I’m fishing a metro lake. Last week my buddy and I were fishing for perch and saw a big school of carp move in about 3′ under the ice. We were just curious what we could use to catch Em cause they were big!

Joc I just hate when you bring your lure outta the water it just spins sometimes. Can’t imagine a fish wanting to eat that if finicky. May just be over thinking.

Thanks JD. I feel like I have an extreme paranoia of helicopter bait

As a first time ice angler I purchased this auger as my very first auger and couldn’t be more happy! Push the button and rock and roll. No gas, lightweight and gets the job done efficiently. I haven’t had any issues with the battery draining this year either. Highly recommend to anyone thats in the market.

I believe the manual claims that the battery can take up
to 20 hours to charge fully.

Ice team across the ice with jiggy Anderson is pretty good. The production is on par with IDO but the knowledge bombs that James and the boys drop are unequaled. Jason Mitchell outdoors is another good one.

Thanks guys. Think I’ll try the electrical tape. Santa got me a TUCR noodle and didn’t want to gum up the craftsmanship.
