we were in columbia county by portage. and yea there were not a lot deer to be had and not a lot of shooting around us either.

just a question but how long the minnesota firearms season last? i know about the muzzleloader season but im talking about using any kind of gun?

i’ve tried it but havent had much success but i also havent been seeing a lot of deer the past couple years, um maybe like 4 the past 3 years and i usually just keep quiet most of the time unless i get bored and start messing around with some calls.

columbia county by portage hunting river bottom deer. hopefully i can see at least a couple deer. and maybe a nice buck. good luck to everyone up north should be interesting to see how many deer are killed up there.
