Because natural forage blinks like an LED, LOL. People catch <strong class=”ido-tag-strong”>pike on hot dogs, does not mean everyone should go out and buy hot dogs. Just a gimmick because they can not come up with an new lure idea.

Have you seen the price of bait lately? Cheap hot dogs cost a lot less.

    They don’t die either!

Wow, that’s a heck of a buck and story to go along with it. Condolences on the loss of your dad.

Some sort of bloodsucker or maybe even a small Lamprey Eel depending on the body of water whereyou found it.

Funny, when fly fishing for trout out west sometimes it seems you can’t keep them off the line.
They’ll grab your fly before it can get to a feeding trout!

Another thumbs up for the Ice 35. I’ve had mine over 10 years, never a whiff of trouble and nice feature set at the price point.

In my experience a week or two on a renewal, a bit longer on the initial application.

Finally got around to finishing my new storage this weekend. I’ve got a 3rd stall in my garage that’s to small to put a vehicle in. So with about $30 worth of materials from Menard’s I was able to build a 4×8 platform for the fish house that has more than enough room for other things as well. I mounted it high enough that I don’t have to worry about hitting my head when I go under it and there’s more than enough clearance under it for when I do finally pull the trigger on a boat.

I built a similar shelf in my garage about 10 years ago but have only been using it for storing lighter stuff.

What’s your method for getting your sled up there Eric?

Just got my Eskimo Keeper bibs today from Glen’s. They look to be heavy duty, are comfortable to wear (for an hour at least) and well layed out for pockets, zippers and vents.

Obviously I haven’t had them on the ice yet but they look like a winner.

    Hey Cody,

I saw a few anglers who had walked out to the North break line of Buffalo lake yesterday 12/11.

ALWAYS use caution and stay where others have already safely passed when possible.
