This needs to go asap so 1 St $180 takes it away.

Chris is a great guy and guide. Another guide thats been on the river guiding longer than anyone and is a great knowledgable guy is Charlie Nelson owner of Nelsons guide service. Both guys are fellow TPWA members and know the bite as well as anyone. I see Chris may be getting a new boat. Charlie runs a 20′ Lund tiller wich is awesome for the river. Tons of room in that baby.

If you have a Otter get a Sportsmans Caddy its well worth the money and your beverages are always at your side.
Congrats James. I look forward to possibly working with you a bit this winter.
Lake Superior around Duluth/Superior has very very little structure so the 3 biggest things that I find influenece where Im going to fish are wind, water temps and bait fish.
So having a tool that will give you a better reading of temps at different depths can often be a game changer. I dont know how many times I have been fishing 20′ to high or low and find out later from friends with a temp probe that I should have ben fishing a different depth because od a temp break. To each his own but I believe in having as much and the best equipment you can afford to use.
Can you get cel coverage up there? If so get the Navionics ap for your smart phone for $13 I think it was. Best money I have spent in a while.
Hey Grant you keep that salmon/laker bite under control and Ill do the same with the eye bite down here. I bet gas costs me less. LOL.
I have several Limit Creek Rods and have not had 1 issue with any of them. I have the 5′ shorties, Smoothies and the telescoping trolling rods. All have performed flawlessly. I also will be adding 2 of the 12’ers to my line up.
This flood will surely have long term impact. Not only to the fish but the river and lake. There will be mud, silt and docks/trees all over the place not to mention sheds and propane tanks. What the ACOE has dredged will be a mess. The marker buoys from up river havent been found and some are stuck in mud lake. I feel this will have a long term economical, fishing and biological effect.
I hate to say it but it could mess up fishing patterns for years to come.
Last Saturday we got 25 gallons and then the weather went to shiz. Finally got out last night and got 6 gallons in about 2.5 hours with 2 guys pulling. Headed out tonight for the last time I think. The females were in full swing with eggs all over the seign.
Grant you need some smelt?
