Would highly recommend a second battery. Going up one battery size will not deliver the capacity if you are a hard fish guy. I tried this only to eventually use a add a battery kit from blue sea and two 31 batteries. Should be in your wheel house if you are an electrician like I am. Reach out if you have any questions. Here is a link to this site.

I appreciate for the info. I also am staying in port clinton. I plan to use bandits and 44 magnums. Going with 3 guys and will try to run 9 lines if possible. Don’t know where Oak Harbor is, but I will find it.

If you buy a new GFCI, don’t get the cheapest one you can find. It will make no difference if it is 20 or 15 amp. I know cheap ones trip on my charger.

Are those elite ti or elite ti 2?

I know the elite ti don’t really share the waypoints. If both units are powered up the waypoints are seen on both screens, but can only be edited in the unit they were created in. I say both because i only have two and not three. Let us know if it all works; I’m curious.

As for the Ti 2 I’m not sure how waypoint sharing was changed or if it is the same in the Ti models.

I plan to mount the LVS-32 on a pole. Temp it up at first to find the best spot for it eventually.

I intend to add an extra battery for the system. Not sure if I will just parallel with the starting battery or use an isolator at this point.

I assume the control for the LVS 32 will be done from either locator since there will be a network cable between them.

Do you anticipate interference on a parallel battery system?

Should I run #10 awg to each unit or one to feed all three items?

Or use a angle indicator. The change and trailer jack is pretty cool idea too.

It is in good shape. I believe you classify it a gen 2. Improved gps without the heading puck on new units. 2013 manufacturer date. I will throw some pic up.

Off my buddies Dad’s boat. Age and ability upgraded him to an Ulterra upgrade so this guy got freed up.

Scary, I updated my motor last week and just went to check out motor in the garage today. I used update MTGD 1_0_00_07.swup. I was also running the version 2.

    My remote still works.
Cruise control works with the remote and touch screen.(Elite TI 12).
I still have the autopilot features.

Not wet tested, but trailer tested in garage.

    I run a elite ti 12(version 1) with a 2016/2017 Xi5.

I hope reverting to version 2 helps you out.

That bottom step is low. Do you think there will be a problem going through dips or over the crown of a landing. I have seen spare tires that are under the bow of the trailer drag sometimes. Just a thought.

Lowest step is 13.5″. I have trailered several thousand miles without hitting pay dirt yet. SuperDave1959 brought up a point earlier. If you back up with your tailgate down, it would soon resemble a crinkle french frie for sure. Tight turns would also be problematic with the gate down.

Trickstep is not a one size fits all. He makes the steps custom to your rig. All welded and coated. A plate and four bolts hold it to the winch support of the trailer. Non skid on the steps. Just pointing out more options for community. Happy Shopping. Happy to answer any questions.

I installed tricksteps on my rig. Really like them.. You would really have to come in sideways to hit mine. I would be more worried about the fenders at that point than the steps. At any rate steps are awesome in my garage. I back the boat in tight and crawl in there to rig and stow all the time.

Did the upgrade, did not try it yet. As soon as I can make it out I will report the good, bad, or the ugly. Install was pretty painless, under 10 minutes. 07 SWUP. Update and instructions found on Motorguide website. Be sure to take survey monkey to determine if your motor is suitable for the upgrade.

I calibrated it in my house with a battery, it needed to be calibrated again in the boat. Seemed different when mounted in there for some reason.

Also clean your screen. Pollen, water droplets, dust all make your screen work miserable. Or they do mine.

Ah yes. I see the genesis live files on my sd card. (Highlighted in attachment) I see what is going on now with this. These are my genesis files from my trip. I am now have used both genesis live to create my own map and the separate free cmap genesis to update the contour map of an area. Cool stuff. Thanks Waxy!

Will my genesis live mapping be saved on my locator or do I start fresh each time? Do I need to save the mapping files or is it done automatically?

    And Thank you for responding.

I have used both on the Mississippi River on Monday. Uploaded 7 1 hour sonar files and made a decent map for myself. Just wondering if that map will be there next time. Is the map stored on the sd chip or in my unit? Sorry about so many questions; I just can’t find these details anywhere on the utube videos or stuff I read online.

Frabill ice rod case. Not the xl. It’s 38″ long doesn’t take up loads of room. Won’t work if you run longer rods.

Depends on the day, the mood of the fish, and your confidence with what you have tied on.

When I feel unsure I tie something on and run one of each and let the fish be the judge.

Thursday meat was a clear winner from the menu.

    Security chains super Z.
I have used them on cars and trucks. It was at one time what the washington state troopers used. Had to buy my first pair going through a mountain pass.
Good luck for me with this type.

Down Thursday as well. 25 or so fish. 4 decent ones. Lots of shorts. Fish seemed less aggressive than last trip. Not sure if the 5 or 6 degrees drop in water temp or just the day. Lovely weather either way.

Balls Out mount might get you off to the side.
Obviously I have more room than you. Take a look. Not sure it will bail you out. That is a small space sir.

I finished this project. Seems to work flawlessly. On board charger is a minnkota mk 460 pc. Charged 2 group 31 agm batteries up fully. Float charge did not unparallel the acr during float charge. Install was tough due to space constraints and choice of in line circuit breakers. Had fine strand wire and breakers were definitely not for fine strand wire. Overcame this my tinning wires with solder and a maps gas torch. Solder iron was not hot enough for 4 awg wire. Used green scrubby to shine up wire after application of heat.

you won’t find any plowed roads here.some years by mid january it can be really tough with a vehicle.snowmobile best option, especially if you are travelling from a distance.no fishing clubs.no help from local commerce.you are on your own here.hope this helps.plus their dictator governor has most business locked down to 25%

Ditto that. I called around last year and a bait store told me “Why would you come here if you live in Minnesota?” No real info I could find. Doesn’t sound like there is a resort heavy pressure there; which could be good.

Rswan, maybe it’s just me but I can’t see the shocks in your pictures. What is holding the lids open?

Two things. That is not my boat. My boat is identical; I screen snipped the photos off Triton’s web site. The hatches do stay open by themselves until a wave comes by. It seems to be some strange fate of the world that it only slams shut when I need both hands to reach something and wacks me on the skull.
