If there is a small town meat locker near you that processes deer, stop by and see if they will save you some too. As far as dyeing does, good luck. When I was tying jigs I tried all sorts of dyes, but none of them were very vivid. So, I stopped trying and ordered all the tails of bright colors and just did the whites I collected. But, that was 30 years ago so maybe things have improved.

Speaking about water, I often wonder about the water we drank in Vietnam,68-69, specially when we were out in the jungle. You didn’t always find a river, so you hoped to find a stagnant pool of water, wipe the scum off the surface, fill your canteen up, and the drop a water purification tablet/iodine tablet in it. When you were thirsty I guess it didn’t make any difference how it tasted. It didn’t kill me as I’m still going strong at 76.

If it’s not MoTown, it just isn’t music. I do mix in some Billy Joel, Neil Diamond, Garth Brooks, Willie Nelson, and Rodger Miller’s Golden Hits.

There’s nothing happy about Memorial Day! This day is just for those who lost their lives fighting for our country and not for all vets.

haleysgold, I had it put on my boat trailer in 2019 when it was new. They put on the sides going back to the fenders, and on the fenders, plus the cross beams under the trailer. Tony, at Sign Pro, told me a lot of truckers were putting it on the front of their cabs. Anyway, after 5 years it’s still looking good and doing its job! Hope this helps.

Walleyeguy34, that’s what I had to do. I would lose bottom contact at around 20-25 mph. speaking of SI. I have a Lowrance Elite SI, I just HATE IT. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any fish on it.

We got ours from Lowes and I love it. The battery last for an hour, but it only takes me about thirty minutes to mow our extra lot. Last fall I just made sure I cleaned under the deck and blew the entire mower off. This spring I lubricated the wheels and the blade and she was ready to go.

I have the JT Panhandler 7 ft UL. I love it. it’s not as whippy as most UL rods. I wasn’t sure until I had one in my hands. It will handle #4 Xraps just fine.

Youbetcha, all the way on the Ridgeline. My turn to drive to Canada last year, with four guys and all of our gear for five days. Plenty of room in the trunk for all of our tackle bags and life jackets. I just wish they would come out with a 5’6″box. My only complaint.

dirty water, For unloading, you might want the front of the boat up higher. And by the way, only men in the know and with class drive a Ridgeline. You did it right. bow
