Thanks We’ve stayed at Nodak Lodge for the last 25yrs, so we have seen many different conditions. Our group all grew up in the UP so we are used to snow. But we sure like it when we can get to our favorite spots. Nodaks always has good roads and we can usually find the perch. CAN’T WAIT! Love this trip.

Thanks, wont be there for a couple weeks yet, so want to check out condition going forward. I travel over there from the UP and live in the snow belt we don’t drive trucks on lakes.

When i get my otter set up I either shovel a couple inches of snow from back side or I lift the front and kick a couple inches under the front. Then you put the spreaders and poles in. This slants the sled not the seat. Works for me.

Teeter pigs by Gus Pietila at Maple Ridge bait shop in Bergland Mi on Lake Gogebic are hands down the best.

So my fishing partner called last night and said he talked to roger at Nodak lodge, and was told that they have not had any guest in the past two weeks. All their roads flooded and they had to give up on them. They are trying to get new roads established, but so far every time they cut a new one it floods. We were planning on leaving Sunday morning but are supposed to call this morning to find out if they are successful. I looked at Jeff Sundins report on Winnie Resort closures and it doesn’t look good. seems they’re all pulling the pin.
