If you are just running lights, fans, and a heater, you could go with a cheaper brand. I know some guys that have LiTime lithium batteries in their boats. That’d be a good option

I had these guys come out about a month ago. Very respectable pricing and cheaper compared to other places I got quoted. Plus they did a good job and did the dryer vent included

I worked 30-35 hours per week in construction while getting my 4 year degree and then working full time with overtime in the summer. If he is motivated, it’s possible

Truthfully, it might be more price effective to sell your trailer and buy a used one with the drive off ramps

Another option would be to use the ice defense to keep water circulating. I’ve seen guys buy cheap Amazon aerators instead and those keep holes open. Maybe Velcro them to hole sleeves?

There’s a few companies that make insulated skirts for all the way around the wheelhouse. Not super cost effective but I’m sure it works well

Rubber will dry out much much faster than laminate

Ambush skid houses has a YouTube channel with a video showing a few options. Slightly jackknifing the trailer and using a strap tied off to your atv or SxS to pull it onto the trailer may be faster than a winch.

The cabin will fit in a short box with the tailgate closed. Seen it done in a Chevy, ford, and Ram. I’ve only seen it fit under a tonneau in the GMs

Core is the only one that I am aware of currently. Their bigger houses will fit a crew cab with tracks. Legend is no longer in business

Run the infloor tubing even if you don’t hook up a boiler right away. You can’t put it in later and the tubing isn’t that expensive.

I recently bought the ruff liners brand off amazon. Covers the doors too. Been happy with it

Yes it was. Guess you beat me to it. Seller ghosted me as I was setting up a time to go buy it

Ya I wouldn’t be holding my breath for a new Livescope announcement. And if they do announce something, I wouldn’t think the consumer would have their hands on it until end of 2025

Spoke with the fishing manager at Scheels today. They already put in their spring 2025 orders with Garmin and no new tech was available

Lots of lakes around Brainerd have ice pushed far out from the shorelines. Lots of fog over the lakes this morning

I was very upfront and honest with my agent and they said it would not be a problem

I was working on a date for pickup with the owner of the one with the 100hp but he stopped responding. Guessing he sold it to someone else. Still on the hunt but at this point, looks like it will wait until the spring

    Jake-

I would recommend going to a good bow shop that carries most or all of the major brands. Tell them you want to test shoot everything to see what feels the best. Try not to look at the brand on the bow when you shoot it. I did this and ended up with my Matthews but like handguns, different bows fit different people better

We don’t make it but have McDonald’s meats in clear lake make it for us. By far the best we’ve had. They slice it then so it crisps up nice, so that would be my one pointer

I’d be fine if it went down to 2 or 3 fish personally. Also size slots on panfish. Rather catch fish than keep fish

I just use the tables for major and minor times local to where I’m at and weather bug app for weather conditions. Maybe I’m to old school, what does a fishing app tell you? I’ve always applied moon phase, major times, fronts, water conditions to tell me where and how. Something make it easier?

I use the Lakemaster app for mapping on my phone when I don’t have access to a gps unit. Pulling it up on the iPad when driving in the truck on the ice is nice

Lakemaster one boat network for fishing. Best maps and if you have any humminbird products, you can Bluetooth to them (like control a link trolling motor).

OnX for hunting. Much better than hunt stand in my opinion. A lot of new features and map layers that are very helpful like the range finder feature or the oak tree map layer.

Both have a cost but if you use it frequently, I feel they are well worth it. I spend more money on less useful crap.

Not sure what everyone else is seeing but yesterday saw a lot of chasing and the target buck seemed to be on lockdown with some does already
