I was hoping to just walk out somewhere and fish, honestly don’t know enough about the lake to know if that is even a possibility. Thanks for the info!

Thinking about heading to Mille lacs for the first time ever next weekend. Any advice on a spot to launch, place to start, any advice at all would be appreciated. Thanks
Taxes are always a fun adventure. What would Biden have to do with 2020 taxes though?
From talking to family up there the vaccine pace took a brutal hit when they didn’t receive shipments for two weeks when the EU shut down exports temporarily. That was followed by another week of no deliveries because of the storm in the southern US where all the shipments were routed through. It has picked up a lot since then but they are playing catch up obviously. Hopefully it ends up being open sooner than we think as the pace continues to accelerate
What resources do you guys like to use to find out info such as water levels etc on the river?
Great thread, I have been thinking of trying the river but had some of the same worries. How far out into the river do wing dams typically extend?
Caught a 16 inch and 21 inch walleye from shore of a south metro lake last night between 5:30 and 7:30. Both hit a jerk bait. Hopefully we get one more decent warm up
Interesting…
Here is the explanation. Even the original poster retracted it. I believe they call it fake news
Better to love America and vote for Don than hate America and vote for the lying, hiding, corrupt Biden! Do you really think you will be able to hunt or fish if the socialists come into power?
Canada has more of a social safety net than we do. Therefore a vote for more of a social safety net will result in fishing/hunting exactly like it is in Canada!! Vote Biden for bigger and more plentiful walleye and deer.
Voted by mail, dropped off. Planning on voting in person on Election Day too, just to make sure it is counted
Thanks for the replies, makes sense. So in theory you could pull the motor all the way up or just go slow and do it?
As much as possible I would try and avoid treble hooks in those situations. If you want to use a crank bait with trebles consider changing the hooks out for slightly bigger ones
My kids have been in daycare since about 8 weeks post everything shutting down. They have had one case among a teacher that shut the place down, one kid tested positive afterwards. They have handled the whole thing quite well. A friend’s daycare is currently shut down because a different parent sent their kid into daycare while they were waiting for the kid’s covid test to come back (with symptoms). After The test came back positive they came clean and in the few days after it happened another kid has tested positive and the operator of the home daycare is now sick with covid. A little personal responsibility will go a long way
Ha! I would actually appreciate it if you didn’t assume their pronouns
P.S. I know that isn’t a pronoun
I wish he would have stuck around so I could have told him “no thank you“
I think that would have made his head explode, ha
Lots of angry folks in the world today, my daughter (who is 6) was playing with window crayons and drew a big heart on our front window. She painted it rainbow colors because “rainbow is her favorite color.” I was in the front yard a couple days later and a guy driving by yelled “f#%k you gay mother…….”
Took me a few minutes to realize what he was even yelling about
Buddy that works at Morrie’s told me that a lot of brands are about to run out of the surplus they used up when factories were shut down. There will be a gap where new cars are hard to find. I would imagine it will be similar for “toys”
A buddy of mine that works in the ICU and has an MPH (knows more about all of this than I ever will) and I were talking about schools recently. He said “we should do the plan that keeps kids and teachers safe, allows the parents to work, gets everyone their education, allows them to be kids and socialize, and doesn’t increase the spread in the community.” I said what plan is that? He said there isn’t one, they are going to have to do the best they can and people need to get used to the fact that it isn’t going to be perfect
Agreed. That would be the final nail in Rob Manfred’s coffin I would guess. He was in trouble after how he handled the Astros nonsense
Assuming it doesn’t spread to the Phillies they are just going to need to adjust. Hopefully the other team’s learn that they are going to have to create a bubble around their players even more and the players learn that if they aren’t careful away from the team their season won’t happen
I think a lot of it will depend on if any of the Marlins’ opponents test positive now. If they can keep it to one team they should be ok in the short term. Red Sox pitcher has myocarditis which might scare some guys
Baseball’s protocols and strategies are getting tested early. 14 Marlins’ players/staff have tested positive and they have had to cancel/postpone their home opener. I am sure the rest of the league and the NFL are watching closely to see how it works out
I blame Jeter
Yeah I would imagine they will run into the same issues with supply chain that every other store has
Ha, that was as empty as a display was but there were several that looked like that. Haven’t tried their baits but you have to give those kids some credit
Definitely still go! I forgot I took a couple pictures. Most of the displays looked like this
