The key to carrying the LX7 is to make sure your hand slides into the back of the case where the handle is located. If you carry by the strap with the face open, it can feel tippy. Others have utilized velcro, or snaps on the bottom of the case to prevent tipping when carrying with a strap, but for the most part – sliding your fingers into the handle sock works without issue.
November 28, 2016 at 11:00 am #1653037That is odd. But just so you know, you can catch our episodes on YouTube as well. The shows get posted online 30 minutes after they air on Television.

November 23, 2016 at 10:03 am #1652169I could be wrong, but one thing you should be aware of with NILS augers is the process you would need to go through to get something fixed, you have limited options. We are aware of a gentleman up in Duluth who may be able to service the unit, but outside of that I believe you would need to send the unit overseas to get warranty work done. In addition, the cutting heads on a Nils auger run around $100.
If you are looking to upgrade at a later date, I would suggest putting a Gas Auger to the top of your list. You will spend less time hand drilling holes, and more time fishing. Just my two cents, for free!
November 23, 2016 at 9:04 am #1652143I wish I could comment, however I am unsure. The Marcum unit’s sonar is very powerful, so the comments in regards to fishing next to a Vexilar are accurate.
November 18, 2016 at 12:41 pm #1651303We will air the show Sundays at 8am Central. Immediately after the show airs we will have the video available on YouTube at 9am.
November 18, 2016 at 11:39 am #1651290@crappie55369 You got me there buddy lol. Although, I am not sure it will be red, so that adds another complexity to your situation!
November 18, 2016 at 11:26 am #1651284@BassnDan, on the website here we have Web Extras, Season 3,5,6,7,8,9,10. We are only missing season four, simply because it is stored on old media.
On our YouTube page we offer Web Extras, Season 3,5,6,7,8,9,10. Plus we offer playlists broken down by fish species, and we also have old commercials archived on our YouTube page.
A total of 273 videos currently exist on YouTube, and 117 on our website.
The difference in the number of videos between Website and YouTube is significant, but we chose not to display product videos on the Website.
We will add Season 11 to both Web and YouTube as the season goes on.
Thanks!

The intent of the post was to inform forum members that are not also on Facebook that you have a chance to win some gear, thats all. We aren’t punishing you, punishing would be us not telling you or giving you an opportunity in the first place.
Because information is shared in numerous fashions online, we have to utilize all channels. The website and forum are our number one priority. Sorry to those who feel otherwise.
And based on responses, we will reward forum members with a couple giveaways too.
I am all ears if anyone want’s to provide suggestions on how we do a giveaway in the forums.
November 17, 2016 at 4:18 pm #1651149@cks86 You can’t go wrong on Tonka in the Spring and Fall fishing the channels. When the bait starts to move in, those fish will stay put and provide weeks of good fishing. Anglers will pull cranks and have great success, but you will also see a ton of the simple “jig and minnow” presentations. They both work great.
As always, I encourage folks to release Walleyes on Tonka, especially those that are 16″ or less. A lot of effort goes into putting more fish in the lake through the Westonka Walleye Program – and it is something we hope helps the future of the fishery!
October 27, 2016 at 1:53 pm #1647508My largest Walleye on a lake in Minnesota is 32.5″ on Crow Wing Chain back in 2008. I’d love to see a 33 or 34 from any lake in MN. If it was my backyard, then all the better
I also keep hearing stories of a famous sturgeon that lives in Tonka. I have my doubts. But certain people swear by it. Crazies.
October 27, 2016 at 12:48 pm #1647493@roosterrouster you will see two techniques being used for Walters right now on Tonka. Trolling Cranks, and Pitching Jigs with a Fathead. The fish are moving around chasing bait balls, so if you find the bait the fish aren’t far behind. With roughly 31 channels available to fish on the lake, start with those, and you should see a fish or two a night.
October 27, 2016 at 12:43 pm #1647492I am not sure who he is, I know everyone else though. As a side project I run TonkaFishing, and we have user submitted photos directly to our facebook page every day. That was one of them!
October 27, 2016 at 8:31 am #1647393I love this post! Thank you for sharing. You certainly have worked for your first Walleye, as I have noticed how often you get out and fish based on your posts here in the forums. Great work, and glad to see you were able to get out with your dad. Priceless!
