There is a lot of public land over by Star Prairie/New Richmond area. It gets hit pretty hard though.

Panoptix and livescope are game changing, but that price tag is crazy to me. Did anyone score a deal last year at a show? Or know what they were going for at ice shows?

Hunted western WI both Saturday and Sunday public land. Didn’t flush or hear any birds. 2 things that played a big factor… Corn is still up and I’m hunting with a dog that just turned one. For her first go around, she did awesome! Best of luck to everyone this year.

I’m a teacher, so I understand where you are coming from when it comes to fishing during the week. I mostly get out on the weekends, but usually have other obligations too. I try and sneak out after school most nights. I fish local lakes by the school. I’m pretty limited with species to chase with not a lot of daylight, so I target lakes with reputation for night bite crappies and or walleye. I target other species on the weekends. Long story short, fish close to work and find night bite crappies and or walleye (easier said than done). Good luck!

I’m in the market for an electric auger and ice hub. Iv’e been eyeing both the strikemaster 40v and an eskimo/otter hub style shack. Going on Sunday this year hoping to get a deal. Fingers crossed
