Those uniforms are stupid.
Twins rookie infielder Luke Keaschall suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right forearm during tonight’s win over the Angels. Feel bad for him. Hope he returns quickly.

I flipped over to it and saw the Boise State running back get picked. Two crotch grabs before he got to Goodell. That was enough. Maybe he has and itch?
The stadium shots I saw were early in the game, the first 3 innings. If 12,000 people entered the stadium they must have been in suites, bars/restaurants or the mezzanine. They weren’t in the seats.
My uncle used to smelt around Duluth back in the 60s when I was 6-8 years old. Bring some to our house and he and my dad would clean them in the laundry tub with scissors. I remember a lot of eggs. I don’t remember eating any.
They showed a few shots of the stadium/fans today. I know it’s against the White Sox, a weekday game, cooler and rainy. There couldn’t be more than 3,000 fans today.
Laz Diaz is at third today. Shouldn’t do much damage there. Fingers crossed.
they don’t scan the crowds much.
There’s a reason for that.
Twins are 3rd worse team in MLB right now. Yowser!! White Sox are 2nd.
Pic from last night at 8:25 pm. Everybody should have gotten to their seats by then. It’d be hard pressed to be 5,000.
90/100s in southwest Minnetonka per CoCoRaHS. I need to get my rain gauge out.
The old baseball saying is, “You can’t win the division in April but you can lose it.” I think the Twins are working on the latter!!
I’m glad it was on Apple TV so I couldn’t watch it. Jax goes through stretches like this every year. Walks, missing his spots, then hangs a slider.
I keep a long handle hoe in my truck bed to push and pull stuff.
Several guys I know use an enclosed trailer to haul decoys and a four wheeler.

I made a long handle hook to grab stuff but it tears up the decoy bags. Also the bins in the front of the box with jacks, impact wrench, sockets, torque wrench, etc. don’t slide well with the carpet piece I have to keep them from sliding around. I’m almost always pulling a duck boat so a trailer is not an option. I am going to get a cover for the boat so I can have some of the decoys in the boat.
I think I’ll be ordering the Decked CargoGlide 1000# 100% extension. I’m also going to have Radco install some Westin cube LED lights in the step area on each corner of the rear bumper (that I never use) for backup lights for the unlit accesses for both duck hunting and fishing. Might urine off a few people at the grocery story since each is 1820 lumens, but oh well!!
The only con is you will lose a few inches of height under your topper.
Raising the bed floor is actually a PRO in my case. They keep making the boxes higher and I can’t reach something through the side window if it’s laying on the floor if it’s not very high and I’m 6’1″. My 2004 I could, my 2015 truck I could but barely. I rarely pack it floor to ceiling.
Thanks for all your input guys. It helped me decide on the one that will be the best for me. Should have it all installed before the fishing opener.
Latly, I’ve been getting physical therapy on my shoulders and they’re almost back to normal.
That must be funny to see them slide down slowly.
Has anyone tried putting a section of pvc or abs pipe over the mounting pole in the first section above the ground? I should have tried that on the wood duck house I put up this spring. I got one of the squirrel guards from Menards. I may have gotten the house up too late. There are a few woodies around but no takers so far.
Umy bought the Woods/Rainy v 4.0. Met him yesterday and had a very nice conversation about fishing, trucks, work, retirement…and mapping chips.
I’ll keep this post up until fishing opener.
I have a Ranger 620 & have been running a older bow mount Terrova with a 60″ shaft. Just ordering a new Ulterra Quest and I was wondering if I should go with the 60′ or do I need to go with the 72″?
I had a Lung 1700 Angler SS with a 60″ Terrova. I fished from the side console most of the time. The prop would come out in waves I felt very comfortable fishing in.
My new boat in 2020 is a 1875 ProGuide. Since I’d be fishing in the back most of the time since it’s a tiller, I went with the 72″ Ulterra. Never looked back. As mentioned previously, you lose some shaft length with the motor that moves the shaft up/down. Get the 72″.
I used to use sunscreen but I think it affected how many fish bites I got. A buddy who usually doesn’t use sunscreen used to out fish me. You are also supposed to reapply every 2 hours to get the full protection. Now I use UPF clothing: hats, sun buffs (not my favorite to wear but you get used to them), shirts, pants and gloves. Some of the manufacturers are:
Columbia
Stryker
Aqua Design
Solbari out of Australia for a great sun hat that’s cool
Duluth Trading Company: Dry on the fly clothing
I got Maui Jim sunglasses last year with bifocals and wear them almost all the time also.
My dermatologist said I was good to go for 2 years, but if these precancerous spots I had treated showed up in one year, she’ll be seeing me next year!!
Forgot to add in 2022 I had a mole removed where my neck meets the shoulder. It was “as atypical before the pathologist would classify it as cancer.” Initially the dermatologist removed just the mole. After the pathology report, a skin surgeon removed the margin around the mole to be sure to get all the atypical cells. No further issues.
I had a couple bad sunburns as an early teenager that may have contributed to that one. Sun exposure is additive throughout your life.
Woods/Rainy v4.0 is micro. Sale is pending on that one. Others still available.
I tweaked my rotator cuff last fall moving decoy bags from the front of the box to the rear through the topper side window. Thinking of getting a bed slide. These are the main ones:
Bedslide: https://www.bedslide.com/?srsltid=AfmBOoo3j1TKyESizK0VrcaiP8scqoDrzB1Qg5NWS9G4d9YXA6OnYVHr

Anyone have or used on? Pros and cons?
$50 LakeMaster MN SmartStrike v 2.0 – has the same maps as LakeMaster
MN v6.0; you can input fish species/time of
year and it will show potential locations to try
$25 LakeMaster Woods/Rainy v3.0 – doesn’t cover the whole lake- buyer
must confirm what it covers, I think it covers up to Redgut
otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it
$50 LakeMaster Woods/Rainy v4.0 – new in the box; I think it covers
the whole lake and Rainy River-buyer must confirm what it covers
Pick up in southwest Minnetonka
One of the last snows, Cody was taking his morning leak. Part way through he spotted a deer and held the position 10 seconds after he finished peeing before he bolted.
Breakfast last Friday before I went fishing.
Chuckeye steak with sautéed mushrooms and a couple of fried eggs.
Are you supposed to bring them in? I never have and the gauges make them look fine, never actually used them to see though.
I don’t know for sure but I always thought it was a good idea.
Been checked on Upper Red open water a few times. One time just checked safety equipment and didn’t even ask about the fish. I didn’t have my fire extinguisher because I forgot to put it in the boat after being inside the house for the winter. Just told me to get it in the boat when I got home. If the proper number of lifejackets are not onboard, a ticket will be written.
Another time, checked license and fish. I only had one since at that time they all had to be under 17″ and I was catching over 17″. He told me where to fish to get the unders.
Just ran my litimes hard for 5 days of spot lock and dragging jigs. Ran the teoller 12 to 16 hours a day and never had less then 70 percent battery.
Did you do this without charging? If so, that’s very impressive. If you did charge did you use a generator?
Around 2016 fishing out of Ballards we (2 people) got checked on back-to-back days. On the first day he looked in the bucket which had a lot of fish in it and asked, “How many fish do you have?” I said I was going to count them after the next fish but should be 14 or 15. He said, “Oh, we’ll count them for ya.” There were 15. Limit was 8 each back then.
Great picture with the bird. I see you have them on Tabasco already. Good job!!
How does Hank know what hair gel tastes like?
