I have a Ranger Reatta and would recommend it with out reservation. I am in a similar situation with a 13 and 11 year old who love to tube. We fish 70% of the time. When it is time to pull them the boat is enjoyable to drive unlike my old Lund fishreman that was horrible for pulling tubes.

The other thing you can do is lube the snaps. A little wd40 on a towel and wipe each snap clean will really help with the ease of getting them fastened. A little lube goes a long way!

I have one that rotates between the hunting shack and the camper. When the hopper is full, I bag it in gallon ziplocs and throw them in the freezer for later. Works great. I freeze 20 ounce bottles for my boat cooler and bait coolers. Just rice the exterior and referee over night.

The Missouri River North of Bismarck, ND. Outstanding river fishing, Sak to the north, oahe to the south and wonderful hunting for feathers, fur, and big game. Not to mention the Prairie slough fishing to the east.

Epic lure. We fished a SD lake Saturday pitching jigs and minnows slowly scratching out a 2 man limit of 17-20 inches over 5 hours. I decided to try pitching a ripping rap just for fun. 19″ on the first cast and proceeded to boat 4 more 19-20 on my next 9 casts. 5 decent fish in no time. I wish I would have started out the morning with a ripping rap on the end of my line.

My Winnipeg big walleye rod of choice is a 32″ medium heavy Scheels elite ice. Fish mostly live targets and blade baits in 8-15 fow. It has performed great 4 years running.

Plano tactical rifle case. Almost any tactical rifle case will work. Perfect length, water tight, and indestructible.

If the chisel point on the flight is bad it will not matter how sharp your blades are. Take a file to the chisel point and then try it, you might be surprised.

We are up in ND in the midst of a ridiculously cold winter, with zero snow for banking. Given this, it seems ok. 40000btu furnace and the floor is fully insulated. Been out on some -15 nights with 20+mph winds. Finally getting hole sleeves for every hole made a huge difference.

My dad bought a grey wolf this winter and has been very happy with it. Lots of space, storage and 8 good fishable holes. Trailers nice. Bunks are 300 lbs capacity compared to the castles at 250 lbs and being 6’6″ 275, I appreciate that. Really like the heavy duty rubbed floor.

The walleye action has been awesome. The perch have been slow. Lots of pressure ridges are messing with travel.

Hyfax kits are the cheapest insurance you can get, Esp if motorized transport is in your future. They also make it easier to pull by hand.

how many of the thumb screws have you lost so far? They seem like a pain in the butt to keep track of.

When your shack is covered on long commutes the otter holders tend to wear holes in your cover. On my way home from Winnipeg last year my cover got abused by the rod holders.

This occured on devils lake in ND. The most recent issue of Dakota Country has the details of the dismissal. No loss of privileges, no loss of equipment and no fines. Total bs.

I had a similar issue last year. I took the center poles out and cut them 3/4 of an inch shorter then re drilled the bolt hole and everything now fits fine. I had a buddy with the same issue as well who did the same with no issues. I’m 6’6 so 3\4 of an inch wasn’t going to mess with the lack of head room.
