Dont know about 2013 but the 115 has an exaust valve that should open at 4500 rpm. They have been known to stick. Wot should be 5500 to 6000 rpm.

With the fast action rod I would recommend mono. The bible uses 10#XT. I use stealth braid but have moderate action rods.

I have used 20′ & 14′ telescoping crappie poles with crawler harnesses.
Just lift them up and shake off weeds and set them back down to keep on fishing.25# mono same length as rod,#5 split shot. Rod will taco in half, grab it run to bow of boat and heave! Net man better be ready, can’t let them bury in the weeds. It is a blast of a fire drill when that bite is on!!!

Tough to add dia with out adding too much weight. Talk to Chris at elk river custom rods. I know they make their own cork handles. He has also done various wounded warrior projects, should be able fit you up
Oh and the rods are awesome too.

I have 6500 2 speed. I don’t use it a lot, but it is at least 30 years old and and still works like a dream. I don’t think they even make that model anymore.

I have a stihl with the brush cutter blade, string attachment and the 3’extension with a 12″ chain saw. Works great for brushing out my bow stand……when I get it back from my buds I will let you know how it is.

When I posted on craigslist, I put in my cell #. I ended up getting a bunch of text messages from some cute ladies including their pictures.

I didn’t update that the item had been sold for weeks……

Well, when you advertised “cheap stud services”, you should kind of expect…

I use an older 6 hp 2 stroke on my nav 175 sport. Works great pulling cranks all day on green bay and Winnebago. If I was pulling in the river current I would like an 8 at least.

Don’t forget about the pump! Honda engines are great but a cheap diecast pump won’t last to long. Look for one with a Cat pump, fully machined block.mine is a Dewalt. Pricey but well worth it.

I would think they would be coming out with a touch screen soon. I am in the same boat as you. I am going to wait until fall. I already ordered the link upgrade though.

Do you think Raquel Welsh’s eggs are still good.Record or not it would still be a trophy I’d mount. Those eggs are out of the gene pool.

i still make them the same way. i call them TOOL TAMERS now and they come with 2 stainless steel mounting screws. some have tried using 3m outdoor tape, works great until someone steps on it. $10.00 each plus shipping, white and black available. paypal works the best. tell me quantity and what color. i’ll shoot you a paypal invoice, convenient because i pay for shipping and print out a mailing slip all at the same time.
    thanks

I would be curious how the 4 stroke would start with a frozen crankcase full of oil ? I have used the pro mag and it is a lot easier
to start and carry around than my 3 hp jiffy .

My poles are as straight as the day I took them out of box. Keep them clean and I spray a little dry silicone lube on them every once in a while and have never had any binding problems.

Yes your right. If it was lighter weight material it would not have held up to the abuse I put it through.

i bought one when they first came out- non insulated – 4 or 5 years ago. love it. it has held up to everything i put it through. still in great shape.only drawback it is heavy, takes a few grunts but i can still put it in the back of my truck by myself.most of time i load it on the trailer with the atv.

I modified mine. 1 foot wider on each side and in front of the tires.also added a side loading ramp. Drive the quad on sideways and put the clam in from the back. Works great.

awesome! put a set on last fall. i went with the 10 ply ( 5/32 deeper tread)out the door was $950. i was surprised how quiet these are on the highway.performance was great for everything i do. ice fishing and hunting, no serious off road use though, just muddy logging trails etc.

it has been a few years but always had good luck there. there is a sand bar that runs north-south on the east part of the lake we long lined shad raps at night for some great walleye action.also during the day we trolled crawler harnesses off the weed edges in 10-12′ dow. good pan fish on the north end of eagle lake, gills and crappies.check out eagle beach resort on eagle lake i think they still have a zip line course for family fun!!!park rapids is a fun town definitely check out the bakery and the old time ice cream shop, ice cream soda’s made the way they are supposed to be. itaska state park is a must see. just thinking about the area brings back a lot of good memories.went up there for 15 years straight, the opener, memorial day, two weeks in the summer ( last week in June thru the 4th, labor day and they kept a cabin open for use during deer hunting. relax and have a good time!!
