Thanks for the info Steve. My tubes are banged up but haven’t scraped above the spray rail on the boat. Not sure how that could happen with my bunk trailer and the angle of the guides. I suppose on a roller trailer the boat could lean to the side if not centered and contact the guide. The tubes can’t be very tough based on how mine are beat up.

About ten years ago I ordered a Humminbird unit from an electronics place in California. Everyday I’d check UPS tracking to see where it was. The second day it read delay due to train wreck. Not what you want to hear when it’s delicate electronics. It arrived two days late in good shape.

I just ordered a socket set which has about 15 reverse torque sockets. The cost is under $5.00 and free freight. How the heck can they do that? Obviously not a quality product but I’ll probably use it only once or twice

I could have written your post. Last year I shot the tree rats in the ass with a pump up BB gun at three pumps which was enough to have enough accuracy but hopefully not break their skin. After wacking them once or twice they stayed away the rest of the year. Now there is a whole new bunch to educate. Chipmunks on the other hand get the pellet gun the freezer then the landfill to the tune of 30+ a year.
