I bought the VX-1 last winter because the Vexilar’s are so darn loud. Compared to my buddies Vex’s, the Marcum is much quieter, and has a brighter, clearer signal on the flasher. My buddies wish they had bought the Vx-1 for a lot less money than their Vexilar.
