    Well guys I’m about 5-6 years into my ice fishing career and I own the showdown I believe is the first digital for marcum have had all the some problems (bottom lock jumping around – zoom – now bottom lock not locking when I remove from the hole to the next) Now dont get me wrong they have been TOP NOTCH with service for me but you would think by now they would have these problems figured out. I would like to up grade to the Lx series but why spend the 3x’s the money for the same problems I would stay with marcum just for the service aspect (Ya it’s in the shop again over the holidays and there closed till the 3rd)

    I ordered the showdown arm and I think it was worth the money dont think I have to worry about braking another give the thread above a shot after the emails service was prompt.

    custumer service has ben great but I still have problems with free spool even after I followed there derections. Was told that the design is for ultalight lures what (Bobby pins or bare hooks) free spool is a problem. I have to admit that I bought this reel because it looked great and is my first inline reel of any kind still like it but there is a few problems.

    my clicker was real tough to move at first but after a few time it moved alittle better my problem is the free spool tention does not seem to work.

    Looking into the new 13 fishing reel and extras for the portable, suite for my daughter and a hoodie for my son I hope they will deal early.

    Well thinks for the word helped me to pick which one I well attend for I can only attend one (distance factor) hopfully they don’t sell out the first day looks and sound like a sweet rig

    Any thoughts if the new reels will show up at any of the ice shows coming up in mpls. st. paul area ?

    Thanks guys made the trip 3 time early on before any snow was great just got back from 3 days on mille lacs and did great on the slots 20+ and a few keepers bringing the grand daughter for the last trip of the year.

    How is the bite been as of late I might take a long day trip to scout out the area I will be come in from the west side. And by the way thank for the info
