I’ve pulled cranks up and down that center bar twice. Once got a couple small bass and once got a nice gator. No walleye.

Biggest perch I’ve caught up there is 6 inches.

Was up fishing last weekend. Walleye were tough. Basically need wind and/or clouds to get a bite. Off the edge of deeper breaks. Nothing great for size. Lindy rigs. Did pull a couple real nice smallies, one a sea hair under 20 inches.

Got up here last night. Mainly working on deer stuff, but will be out wetting a line in the evening. If anything is hot I’ll pm ya.

I’ve been on Woman quite a bit this year (the old man lives on Child). The last couple weeks have had huge bug hatches, but I think they might be winding down? Water is around 70-72. I’ve been pulling lindy/spinners and jigging leeches in 14-20ft of water with mediocre success. Not sure when I’ll be up next, but I want to try pulling plugs shallow after dark.

Heading up to Woman tomorrow. Hopefully get out a couple times. Will report back if I remember.

Slow day yesterday, but some success. Buddy had one chase and two hits. I had one that connected. A seahair over 34 inches.

Is there enough snow to justify snow shoes? Been a couple weeks since I was up.

Thanks to all who have been sharing info. Did the superior lake trout thing back in 14 and had an absolute blast. Got my most surreal ice fishing photo to date.

Probably heading up Friday morning. Looking like forecast is for light W winds, hopefully it stays light. I really don’t want to be the citiot who gets stranded on the ice.
