Did Skeeter warranty the JVC or did you out right purchase the Jensen. Was the Jensen able to use the amplifier from the JVC? Seems like there has been a number of posts complaining about issues with the JVC radio. Would be nice if Skeeter acknowledged the issue.

I have the silver, oval shaped JVC. How do I “detach” the face plate?

Much appreciated. From the picture on Skeeter’s website they appear to offer some decent storage options.

In the bow of the Solera there are storage compartments cut into the sides. Could these compartments work in an 1825MX? Would a portion of the Solera’s boat cushion package work on the console of the 1825MX?

Thank you for the suggestion, I will check the amperage this weekend. Do you sell the 60 amp replacement breakers through your service department?

Thanks for all of the responses. I found a You Tube video. Issue was the circuit breaker. I did not initially see the breaker because it was hidden by the rubber battery post covers. I reset the breaker and all is good.

There is no breaker by / underneath the driver’s console that specifically calls out the trolling motor – I checked them all. Is there another set of breakers elsewhere that I’m missing? this is the first time I’ve had an issue.

No, I was in 25′ of water and the trolling motor has been dead for over 3 hours. If I hit the battery check on the trolling motor, nothing happens. The batteries are fully charged.

I can’t seem to find anything other than inline fuses from the battery charger.

Any chance you have a picture from the other side of the boat? It is hard to see the step configuration.

I’d love to see some pictures. My wife is short so climbing into the boat is always a bit of a pain. A friend has a 2016 WX2190 and getting into his boat via the ladder is so simple and quick.

I have the bubble windshields and the Lowrance HDS-8 fits perfectly. I’m thinking the HDS-10 would be a difficult fit unless you pull the unit forward using a RAM mounting unit.

The custom cover was less than $800.00.

I had a custom cover made from material that both repells water and breathes. I had the shop closely mirror a Ranger cover design. I did not cover the motor to reduce the pull on the cover. Have driven down the road in a monsoon rainstorm and the inside of the boat stayed dry. Can also gas up without make any adjustments to the tiedowns – there is a velcro cover over the gas cap. Incorporated special foam on the straps to eliminate any potential chance the straps would scratch the finish. This cover is on a MX1825.

We have owned our dual console MX1825 for a little over a month. We upgraded from a 16′ Alumacraft we owned for 20 years. We love the moving around room and all of the storage compartments. Having all of the different compartments allows us to keep everthing organized into specific needs. My biggest issue with the boat has been launching and loading. I expected there would be a difference between a roller and bunk trailer. Because the Skeeter sits so high on the trailer I have to bury the trailer to unload and load. Basically the water has to completely cover the tops of the wheel well covers – so I need between 28-30 inches of water. The dealer told me I should have maybe 12″ of the bunks out of the water and loading wouldn’t be a big issue. I’m looking for any tips.

Couple of other angles – little better view of the consoles

Anything new on when boats will be available for sale? Any pictures of a dual console model?

Another observation from our test drive – the seats are super comfortable. I’ve never sat in a boat seat that just seems to wrap itself around your contour. I thought I was sitting in my lazy boy.

Another question – the demo boat seemed to sit a little high on the trailer, actually above the wheel wells. I was told they just threw the trailer together for the show. Are they planning on adjusting the trailer so the boat sits lower and ultimately requires less water to launch?

I drove the boat during the Hayward ride and drive – on the Chip flowage. The boat is awesome, the 150hp easily got the boat on plain and moving fast. I’d suggest two corrections: the passenger seat bases are two tall even with the seat all the way down. My wife’s feet didn’t touch the floor. If the two rear storage compartment openings were made slightly larger, Plano 3700 boxes would easily fit inside.
