^Are FL leaders still in a Civil War with Disney?

The social issues are hard to keep track of, or give a sh** about in politics.

Yeah, the children’s corporation who enjoy special autonomy decided to voice their support of k-3rd graders being exposed to gender and sexuality discussions.

Sounds like you need a voting aptitude test to make sure voters aren’t easily influenced by finger pointing. yay

Or move to Florida where we know how to vote and vote for the best candidates. grin Even fingur pointing can’t affect our margins.

As I’m sure you have seen, Ian was not only damaging around the immediate coast where it made landfall, but there has also been horrific flooding inland.

When we drove home, we didn’t see a lot off damage on I75 until we got to North Port. The off ramp was flooded and people lined the water’s edge. There were flooded cars and boat trailers and this was all see just from the freeway. Now that I am home I searched North Port online and all the social media and it is bad.

I feel survivors guilt now and again. I freaked out Tuesday morning and got us to evacuate. Made some posts online they we were evacuating. Now that we are home and see what little damage there is, I know now we didn’t really have to evacuate.

I don’t regret evacuating, because I had to beat the tropical storm conditions to make travel safe. I was waiting until it got past Cuba and the eye formed because I knew forcast models at that point have a better handle variables and are better at predicting the path. Well at the time we left was off by about 100+ miles which made all the difference.

The red marker is where my nephew lives. He got back there today and has sent some pictures and videos. It’s bad, but obviously not as bad as Sanibel and fort Myers beach.

Some of the videos I have see are just ridiculous! I cannot imagine trying to ride that out. I saw a video of a NOAA plane that flew through the storm that just seems unnecessary.

It’s necessary so they can determine the strength and get other data, but yeah, I am grateful for those guys

I saw a tweet from someone in the crew and one of the flights he said they hit turbulence that dropped them 1k feet. That’s crazy

    Glad your doing good pug.
My sister lives in Fort Myers and I know she is stressed to the max. We told her she was nuts moving there last year

I hope they evacuated. We rode out Irma and Matthew and the eyewall never got close to us, but it was unnerving.

Gate was damaged as expected. We have a couple small palms that tipped because the ground was saturated. It’s all very, very insignificant concisering the life changing damages our neighbors to the south will have to deal with for weeks from now.

We did have a fire start behind our house from the power lines in the brush behind us. I warned the damn power company 4 years ago.

As for the pups, I don’t know who was with us the last time I posted, but we have a new generation of 3 amigos.

We lost Apollo this spring at 13.5 years old to heart failure and ended up adopting a Spitz we named Lunar.

Sorry I for all of you who have lost pups since my last posting. Another pack of good boys and good girls who joined the great IDO dog park in the sky.

My nephew left in large part because he didn’t want his car to get flooded. He got an update, and the water is up to the door handles of the first-floor condos. He lives on the second floor.

Hi, and thanks for your concern.

Yesterday morning the National Hurricane Center released a path in the morning that would have had the eye go right over our house. We decided that was enough to evacuate.

It’s amazing how much these models can change in just 24 hours. The eye is coming ashore far enough to the south of us that our house “should” (I pray) be ok. Just put up a new fence, got a new roof and a new Insurance company. I don’t say that lightly though, because I know my “luck” means it will be devastating for others. So, I don’t take a lot of solace in that.

My nephew lives in Fort Myers, he just recently moved. I am glad to report he heeded my warning and went to Deerfield beach the same morning we did.

I got another buddy, who loves to fish and spends winters down here who just built a house in Englewood. He’ll probably need to cash in his ins and get a new boat. He’s a native, but his wife is from New Hampshire, so he’s up there with family.

I get an ache in the pit of my stomach watching the footage. We were on Fort Myers Beach and Captiva just a couple months ago visiting my nephew. I also visited a month before that. He lives on a golf course and the ponds have tarpon, snook and bass in them, but it’s against the rules to fish, so we hit it at night. I told him those ponds are getting restocked now.

Come on guys, you know why they signed Benn. So they can play the video of Yukon Cornelius on the jumbotron. Marketing! You know when they flash the starting lineups there when people are getting a beer or using the restroom, when he is on the starting line they can swap Cornelius for his pict.

Some time back I saw a “Costas” website selling glasses for $49. They pretty much scraped all the pages from the Costa site and just replaced the prices.

If it seems to good to be, ah you know the rest.

I see these once in a while on my feed. I am not sure who actually creates them, but they are pretty spot on. Even players like the guy from Vancouver, who I really don’t follow, I can recognize in these aged picts.

Totally understandable! And I wont be offended if anything did go negative. I also don’t like when I get asked to subscribe right away. A lot of the younger people do that. I feel like you have to earn it and make good videos. That’s why I didn’t come in here spamming “please subscribe” hahahaha. Never would I do that. Either way, thank you for the info. And i’ll still be around.

I commend you for not using epic in your post tongue

Huh, i did not know that. I think I had the old YouTube red subscription before YouTube music which I think is called premium.

Tampa Bay doing Tampa Bay things again. Here we go. Taking on Seabrook FFS close that loophole NHL.

You want Tampa to forfeit next year? They have to become cap compliant through whatever means are allowed. Seabrook is not coming back for the playoffs, he’s done.

I have the premium membership to YouTube. No ads on YouTube videos and YouTube music.

When was the last time you tried? I find it hard to believe the service requires your phone screen to be on. You were using the actual YTmusic app and not just listening to music on YouTube, were you? I rarely play the video version of the songs and use it as a music service.

My wife and I both are very happy with YouTube premium. The auto mixes are pretty spot on. The only thing we have a problem with is we haven’t figured out how to share a mix to each other. You probably can. Took me forever to learn how to clear the current queue.

Took us a while though. Didn’t like it as much at first and missed Google Play Music.

I caught a couple nice size brown bullheads fishing for bass with plastic worms. They are definitely a different animal than yellow and black bullies.

Yes they have to list every side effect by law no matter how rare the side effect.

Certainly better troll game than me.

It’ll be pretty easy. I think I used crawlers or cut bait under a bobber fishing on top of points. This was over labor day weekend one year.

There was a kid in the cabin next to us who went out on the dock after sunset and he caught them one after another on chicken liver.
