I have two colts one is a full frame and one defender. I also have a Kimber custom. They are nice shooting guns and are great for punching paper but are not my carry guns of choice
Wow!! That gets me pumped for this fall! If you dont mind me asking what area is your brother in law in. I am going back to unit 5 for mulies and elk for second rifle season and I am pumped this is my first time going out of state hunting with my dad in a long time.
I was up shooting all the new Hoyts today and the Heli M came in. I like the appearance of the bow but one concearn I have is they shaved so much off on the riser it is very thin to mount your rest. Also I did not like the fact they eliminated the quiver mount and now you have to add plastic peices to mount a matthews quiver. As far as shooting I did not think it was anything magical personaly. The only bow that realy struck my interest was the Hoyt Vector Turbo
We have a cudde attack it takes good pics but we just started using it this summer. The only problem we have had so far is the ir not going off on about a dozen pics out of 200.
sounds to me more like the arrow-broad head combination needs the tuning. I have a close friend that is a pro archer, we were just talking about paper tuning the other day. and he told me all paper tuning shows is you are torquing your bow.
I will be hunting with a bow, and baiting is allowed I was thinking about making a bait barrel like you see on tv since I wont be able to bait everyday. Iam pumped this will be my first time I will have been able to hunt bear.
Check out this site you can search by species or location I have seen some great specails on there before. Hope it helps http://www.worldclassoutdoors.com/
Awesome video! gotta love a double beard!! I had a chance on a double beard last year but I was trying to shoot the bearded hen that was with him but never got a shot
X 2 Shoot a Hoyt! I think the Evo shot better than the Z7 I have shot both a them a lot and Evo was smother drawing and felt better in the hand. Z7 was heavy and didnt seem balanced well for my liking. The thing you really need to do is go to a shot and see which one fits you best..Not sure what you are looking to spend but the Carbon Element is amazing!!
I have never heard of such a thing but I live in Michigan. I have owned AR’s all of which I bought before I was 21 and have never needed a permit. Sounds like MN is way different than MI.
Todd I used to work for a outfitter in slater Co. I am not able to work for them anymore due to career change but we were able to accomidate hunters with any needs and still have almost a 100 % kill rates for three years. I talked to my old boss last week and I beleive they still have openings for this season if you are interested, I can get you more information if you would like just send me a PM.
I have and Axcel bow site and love it! I switched from and HHA which was nice but I really like having muliple pins so I dont have to worry about any adjustments if my target has moved. When I had my Mathews Monster it did not matter because I was one pin out to 50 yards
