Thanks for the updates. It would be great if someone that drives by it everyday could post about the ice conditions a couple times a week. It shouldnt be long at all if shes turnin black now. later

I bought two tickets, I wish I could buy more cuz those are some really cool prizes and trips, but I dont have that much money to spare this time of year. I will probably end up buying a couple more at the Expo on Saturday, that is if I dont spend all my $$ at the various booths. I hope we are able to do something about these issues, I hope we can get enough money together, even though I havent fished Leech much I know that the Leech lake strain esox is very important to keep healthy. See ya at the Expo. C’mon guys its only 5 bucks!!! buy a couple. I dont even have to win anything to have a good feeling about this one, give some back to the muskies that have made us all crazies!!

Glad to be here. Thanks for the welcomes.

Lets get right to it. The crappie bite is on at Whiteface Reservoir in St. Louis County. I am heading back up there this weekend for them slabs. The run and gun method seemed to be the ticket if you dont mind drillin through that much ice. We also got a couple eyes the last day of the season, but the crappies were much bigger. Red glow & fathead under bobber. I cant wait for open water already, did more ice fishing this winter than ever before and I am ready for it to go away.

I am interestes in hearing how you guys that fish the Vermillion area will approach walleye opener. It looks like the water will be low and cold for us. Any suggestions for bog stained reservoir water?? I dont think I will get to V on opener but more than likely I will be on Whiteface. I havent fished these types of lakes on opener before, what should I expect?? thanks
