I used to dip a lot. I have been quit almost 8 years now. I used a web site called kill the can. they had a very unique approach to helping people quit cold turkey. If you are serious about quitting, check out the web site.

We spray out front of our house. We have to get a DNR permit every year and are very limited to how much can be sprayed.
Your just a few miles from me. Ever go to the full moon ?
All the time We Were just there last Saturday night!
I was wearing an old pair of crocks with socks and slipped on our wood stairs. Fractured three ribs. I will never wear them again.
My neighbors house is 4 acres on a nice lake. I am pretty sure it comes with dock, pontoon and pool table. It will go on the market official early next week. I think it is around $550k.
My Neighbor is about to list his house. It is on a great lake in Chisago County. It will sell fast. The signs are up, but it has not been listed on the MLS yet. If anyone wants more information reach out.
The guy that was trespassing on my land stole all of the cameras (they were locked to the tree with a cable). However he left a ground blind on my property. The sheriff asked if it was a good one as it was now my property. I know who is, just never had solid proof. He never came back after I took his ground blind. I think he got the message.
My trail cams to watch trespassers were stolen. I have land in Stark, MN and trespassing is a major issue. So much that I am thinking of selling my 22 acres.
not sure if it is true or not but I heard on the radio that deer can grow 2 trophy bucks in succession in the same time frame as one 10″ blue gill. so probably 7-10 years.
I live on a lake that has a 5 crappie limit as they are easy to catch on this lake. All it did was cause people to bring 4 kids in the boat when they come crappie fishing. Also, we see the DNR maybe twice a year. Last summer it was once on the 4th of July and all they did was write tickets for life jacket violation during the pontoon parade. Not the DNR officers fault, but enforcement is pretty much zero.
Hi Bear
Are you interested in selling the Garmins still?
Thanks!

I sold my hummingbirds and now run all garmins. I enjoy the simple use and easy adjustments. I ran a 93 and 73sv but now have 2 93sv units in my closet waiting to be installed. Might be willing to part with one still in the box for 600. No tax
Thanks everyone. I currently have a Lowrance hook 7 by the drivers counsel and a hummingbird Helix 7 up front that runs off the trolling motor. Neither have side or down imaging. The Lowrance has GPS the Bird doesn’t.
I like the thought of linking the trolling motor to the locator.
Bear, with the 93sv all I would need to buy is the Panoptix transducer? I looked they are like $1400. But that would give me the 360 imaging?
I def need to do more research!
I had Hulu switched to AT&T tv. It is streaming, way more channels than Hulu, and better price. And they have FSN. Best decision I ever made.
I use baby bubblers $5 or full the full size bubble box $15 at wal mart. Battery Operated They work awesome!
I recently got a little too close to my buddy heater with my brand new Strike Master bibs. I wanted to cry. Took them to Demorie Alterations in Isanti. $10 she put a sweet patch on that was thick and matched perfectly.
Well worth taking them in.
I use IFP exclusively for pike. I love them. I fished with them all weekend and caught at least 15 pike. I use TUCR Commander and Okuma bait feeder and the system works perfect. The fish we miss are almost always the fault of the angler. Kids tend to reel before setting the hook. I will say it is really important that the line spool out free when the fish hits. I use bubblers in every hole to keep them from freezing up. It works perfect! I currently have 7 IFP set ups and need one more to complete my collection. I will never go back to a hand tip up again. They are called Public Access’ for just that reason…. they are Public. I have no love whatsoever for jet ski’s, wake boats etc. But they have the right to use our lakes the same as I do. Maybe they don’t like my 19 ft fishing boat with the 150 hp motor or my ice house or me taking my 4 wheeler on the ice. Everybody has to learn courtesy, patience and tolerance. One group of “sporstmen” doesn’t and shouldn’t have the right to dictate what others do if it doesn’t fit their agenda. If the pontoon partyers wand to congregate in the shallows and have their fun then let em do it. At least they’re not out on the big part of the lake causing traffic jams.I don’t think recreational users at the public access is the problem he’s trying to point out. Its the hazardous, no-respect use on the water. Recreational boaters often take longer at the access than others, yes. But their lack of respect creating monster wakes, zipping past on jet skis, and other blaring loud rap music is what I take offense to. I don’t participate in any of that questionable behavior geared towards others on the water, and that’s how I would expect to be treated in return.
What’s wrong with rap music?
two weeks ago i drove 75 miles to get my boat out of storage. Last weekend I went and got the jet skis out of storage. We rode the jet skis Saturday on the lake. In MN outdoor recreation is fine. I will be jet skiing this weekend again when it gets in the 60s. After I go turkey hunting starting Wednesday! Enjoy the outdoors!!
I don’t think it would honestly matter. People will find a way to fill their freezer. I live on a lake that the crappie limit is 5. That is because they are pretty easy to catch in the spring. I see people every spring fishing day after day, with 5 kids in the boat so they can take home the max amount of crappies. Additionally, all winter long I see the same vehicles on the lake every day taking limits of sunfish. One time I was out fishing, and I heard a guy on a phone calling people to ask them if they wanted him to catch them a limit of sunfish.
Sad
I still am a big fan of the i fish pro or similar type tip ups that you can fight the fish with a normal fishing rod and reel. I am not sure I would ever go back to using the hand style tip ups. Curious why people do not switch?
