Thanks for the info. I have been running the normal 6AH Dewalts for the last 4 years and I have fried 4 of them. Looking for options that will last longer.

That’s a lot, all from drilling holes? Same drill the whole time? The 6ah is generally a good battery, would recommend it over the 6ah flexvolt battery.

All of them on the same 999 drill. Been about 1 battery a year. I drill a ton of holes and live way north. So normally drilling through a lot if ice. See the crappie chronicles guys and pictures of Bro using the 9ah flexvolt but I never hear guys talking about the different batteries. Seems like there is no info out there.

I want to put 3 group 31 batteries in mine for a 36 volt ultrex but doesn’t look like they will fit. Has anyone done this?

No experience between the two but love my 2000T, what props are most running on the 2000T with 115?

I was going to ask the same question. Do people use the prop that comes on the 115 or does anyone go to 4 blade prop?

I had a 2009 2000T for 3 seasons and I really liked the boat. I like the storage more than the 620T. After the Skeeter I owned a 2095 Yarcraft and a 2090 Warrior. I fished out of a friend’s 2012 620T several times as well.

I’m speaking from a mostly <em class=”ido-tag-em”>Walleye fishing viewpoint, but I would rank them Warrior, Skeeter, Yarcraft, and Ranger.

What about the storage did you think made it better than a 620T? I have a lot of stuff haha.

Warrior makes a really nice boat. My buddy just got a 2090 but for me I really like how the 620T and the WX2000T have a platform to walk all the way around and I could build/have built a casting deck. They seem like a better option for me with how much casting I do.

I have had 4 Ranger 620 tillers. A 2001 a 2003 2007 and now currently a 2010. I liked every one of them. The storage seems to be much better than any other boat. And the ride is comparable to any good Glass boat.

I personally think you could buy any year 620T repower it and have a good boat for the next 20 years.

Did the rod storage change at all in the different models you had? Do they all have those tubes you put the rods in or do any of them just have a open compartment for rods?

My 680T is a 1990 and I got it in 1995. It’s been an incredible boat! Ranger makes a great product for sure.

Super nice boat. I had a 2009 and had a 150 on it last year they were rated for a 150. Ran about 41-42 full load. Big boat. I made a front deck extension out of 2 x 4’s and plywood and carpeted it. 2 can easily cast all day form there and still have the 2nd seat in place. You will not be disappointed. ne day at a landing a guy made me an offer I could not refuse as fished tournaments and wanted the 150. I replaced it with a 2008 Warrior 1890. Good Luck!

I definitely will be making/getting a deck extension whether I get a skeeter or a ranger. Almost all my time is spent casting no matter what species I am after (every now and then I will troll for muskies or walleye but 95% of my fishing is casting). The front deck is one of the reasons I am not as into the Warriors.

Yeah, it stinks they stopped making them because I love tillers so much. Love how much space I have in a tiller.

I am going to try the Norsk 24ah battery for my livescope. Got a deal on it so that it was slightly cheaper per ah than an 18ah Amped. I will let you know how it goes.

With the Amped 18AH out of stock everywhere I am looking for other ultra light options. Would the Norsk 15ah battery be able to run livescope?
