Because spear chucker could only mean what? I think he is referring to the dark house spearers. I don’t think calling them spear chuckers is an inaccurate descriptive statement. But as usual in this day and age….always assume the worse and cry foul.
August 6, 2013 at 1:17 am #1187809Call farm island repair and marine. That is where i rent my pontoon trailer from. I have had great luck them!
November 17, 2012 at 4:01 pm #1113035Im glad someone brought this up. I went and had the same thought. Save your ten bucks and just go to thorne bros. Same stuff, if not more. I was very disappointed. My opinion of course. I wish i would have found a review before i went.
July 12, 2012 at 8:19 pm #1083576did the agent give you any reasoning behind the increased insured value? Like…appraised value vs. replacement cost etc. Alot of moving parts in those policies. I am not an agent, but sometimes what seems to be turns out not to be. The only way you find out who is right, you or the agent, is if there is a claim. I hope you never find out. Until then …rant away.

April 5, 2012 at 1:09 pm #1055922This may unleash Muskies, Inc. hell on the issue. Someone please get them a copy. (I’m inept at video email)
July 11, 2011 at 5:03 pm #979786Almost everytime i set my smart phone near the puck on the dash mine say GPS Not responding. Then I move my phone and restart- no problem. Do you have any interfering electronics near the puck?
July 10, 2011 at 9:23 pm #979628I owned an 1850 Sportfish full windshield and with minimal waves the water seemed to spray me. the water wrapped around the windshield I was always getting sprayed. And no i am not an inexperienced boater. I no longer own it. I loved the boat for smaller mid size lakes. Hated it on Mille Lacs.
August 31, 2010 at 2:00 pm #896700I have the mm 7-6″. I also have premier trolling 8’0″. The premier is my primary lead rod. Are ther any rods you would suggest for leadcore?

this could bring up another post about what you did for your high school prank, and getting your girlfriend pregnant doesn’t count.
Now if it was your friend’s girlfriend . . . thats a good prank.
April 10, 2010 at 11:09 pm #862757Watched them set nets for few days….what proud heritage! I’d deny my race. How can anyone justify the slaughter during the spawn and profess to the keepers of mother earth.
September 22, 2009 at 6:39 pm #805774Bring suckers. Little “dum-dum” suckers. It helps regulate the pressure on take off and touch down. And probably the first time (maybe not) your little one has had one. Ours had about a half an hour of pure joy when she got that sucker. Also bring a wet nap to clean off the sticky remnants from you and your wife!
Have fun!

100% Synthetic?
Yes, I believe xd 100 is 100% synthetic.
September 14, 2009 at 5:46 pm #804226my lcx20c does this as well. No rhyme or reason to when or how often. I seem to be able to fix it by unplugging and replugging. I have not tried any permanent fixes or questioned Lowrance about it. I saw a thread on a different site having similar problems after they performed an upgrade. I have never done an upgrade.
August 27, 2009 at 2:05 am #800705I had one repaired in my 04 F150 and the dealer wanted more than twice what another outfit wanted. That outfit rhymed with irestone.
August 4, 2009 at 8:43 pm #7953771) No Clue? My light is constant.
2) You may not have any other accessories. Mine is set up the same a2 stereo, but all others are blank.
3) I have a key overide loose in the glove compartment not hooked to anything. There is a plug that connects to the keyless pad that would need to be disconnected and reconnected to the key override in emergency.Enjoy your ride!
March 11, 2008 at 7:29 pm #664379Dont forget to give Joe Fittante a look. He does incredible work. All of the names mentioned each do something particularly well. I like Joe for his ability to match the catch in his artistry and the lifelike eye area. With replicas make sure to shop size and molds available if you want an exact match.

One: Muskies don’t bite daredevels
two: red/white is such an old color that every fish has seen it and won’t bite it any more.
Thank god they haven’t seen a black and silver bucktail.Spoons do well for muskies in some situations, like speed trolling the sand, ripping through thick weed edges, jigging fall fatties. Overall, spoons are outperformed by other baits for muskies. Pike is another story.
March 1, 2008 at 11:59 pm #660820I had a custom made spinning rod made for my wife and guests in my boat who don’t cast well. I love it for working jigs/ creatures. My wife and guests can throw anything I can (except double tens and pounder dogs).
However, be sure the spinning outfit is built with the rigors of muskie fishing in mind.March 1, 2008 at 11:51 pm #660817Im a caster, I suck at precision trolling. I am weak at exploration. I have my spots and am over confident in them.
I can cast double tens all day and never give up. (However, that doesnt mean always hook up) But by far the technique that maddens me is the bulldawg’n I cannot get a dawg fish to save my life. I have several guide friends on the pond and others to compare notes, I have speciallized equipment for dawg’n and still I suck!!! I do have fun throwing them. I am waiting for my “dawg” year where I right my average.October 1, 2007 at 12:36 am #612196The dc-10 by llungen tails has a single treble design. Im interested in hearing if anyone has hooked up with one of those. I would like to seee a double cowgirl with one treble, positioned between the two exist now. I know when they were designing the bait the field testers modified the hook positions quite a bit as hook up percentage was tough as first. Fish smacking the blades. I am afraid the lungen dc 10 w/ one back hook may meet this fate. I am all for saving the fish, but I do like to catch them.
I have caught around 50 cowgirl fish and do notice a high percentage of gill hooked fish. The gill hook is not embeded but is definitely messing with the gills with the front hook stuck solid.
I have yet to kill one immediately as they released, but fear the delayed effects. That being said I have also caught many with messing or fouled gills. So is a gill tear a death sentence? No, but it cant help!
Nice post, Cady.
October 1, 2007 at 12:18 am #612195Go to http://www.savingforcollege.com. For most cases I recommend a 529plan. There are many out there Wisconsin has one you even get a tax break for it. As long as it is used for college expenses(loosely defined) it will come out tax free/ grow tax free. This is a start. Good luck.
