Looks interesting. I wonder what kind of action they will have too. I have never seen one before but I am sure I will buy a couple when I come across them.

Was the DNA a close enough match to collect the reward? Until this lateset proof I was starting to wonder if Pepi was just a myth.

I was down on the lake yesterday. The water had a visibility of 6″ with debris floating everywhere. I managed to land some walleyes trolling shad raps, but I was constantly reeling in to remove the debirs from my line and lure. Like the others posted the water is still coming up so I imagine the debris will only get worse.

I drove by there tonite and there was some ice in the harbor but it was not completely covered. The marina at colville was iced over as far as I could see. If you are going to fish pool 4 this weekend the back channel launch would probably be your best bet. Hope this helps.

Firetiger, blue silver, and chartruse in size 5 are my favorites.

I was out today and had 40-42 in the river and 43-44 down in the lake. Fishing was real slow for me today not boating any fish.

For me the fishing this fall has been very inconsistant. You will have a great day then go back to the same spot the next day with only marginal results. Up until this last week the pitching bite was producing nice walleyes for my boat. That bite faded for me so I switched to vertical jigging saugers. The jigging bite at the dam has been sporadic for nice fish. I probably catch 4-5 fish for every “keeper sized” one. Hair jigs and minnows and also blade baits have been turning a few fish for me. Color has varied from day to day.

Happy Birthday. Hopefully the wife bakes you a cake and the fish bite your line.

I talked to the owner of four seasons in Red Wing yesterday and he told me he can order willowcats, but they will take 2-3 days to get them.

The shimano is well worth the money if you are going to do alot of leadcore fishing.

Nice fish. I have been keeping busy in pool 3 but it is good to see reports of nice fish coming from pool 4 again.

Great to have you on board. Are you going to be running any online specials for IDO members?

The bite has not been that bad at all this year, it has been a little tougher than usual due to the changing conditions. I think that there hasnt been much posting is because the size of fish has been inconsistant. With the high water the fish have been a little tougher to dial in and stay on them. As Dean stated the water clarity has been changing often also. Pool 3 has been better for me this year for nice fish, while pool 4 has been great for numbers of fish. Enjoy your leave,

What time do you want me to come over? I’ll have the girlfriend come over afterwards to clean up.

My friend has the 20 footer with a 200 verado tiller on the back. The boat fishes good here on the river but I bet it is a wet ride on bigger water. The boat handles surprising well and the casting deck is big enough for two people to comfortably fish from. It also loads and unloads easily which is nice in high water.

Firetiger is also another good color to try. The fish still seem to be roaming around so try different depths, lure sizes and speeds. Be prepared for alot of short fish as well.
