Looks amazing for the price, well built, and doesn’t appear that it will collect Ice on the gears. It will be interesting to see how it performs on the Hardwater.

I checked out these batteries (http://www.solarsportsman.com/lithium-batteries/lithium-ice-fishing-replacement-batteries/) as well as the ice force battery.
It looks like they use separate technologies (lithium Ion in the Ice Force vs Lithium Iron Phosphate in the Solar Sportsman) Wondering if anyone has used both?

How long are they supposed to last?

They look amazing, after holding them in the store the other day I am definitely putting several in my bucket for this year. Looks like they would work really well for the negative bites of suspended crappies! (my favorite way to fish)
