I think you may be correct as there is another connection there but when I measure it I also get 40 volts? And it’s a ground connection. I’m reading the same voltage there as the OEM Ion battery. But that extra connection has to have something to do with making it work otherwise why would they have it? I think it may be a temp sensor? But the batteries are all the same room temp? It’s some sort of protection

I get that I can buy another battery and I already have 2 extras. But it bothers me that it doesn’t work when it should? I see many hacks using power tool batteries for to power other devices with no problem at all. I’ll figure it out. And the only way the lithiums will explode is if they are punctured or over heated. Even if you connect them backwards they need time to heat up enough to explode
March 14, 2022 at 8:05 pm #2107775No I’m not rebuilding anything or using anything other than the connections and the ridgid batteries. I’m asking if anyone has the experience with this for their opinion
March 14, 2022 at 8:02 pm #2107774I’m not rebuilding it. It’s not even in the equation. Please reread the entire post
March 14, 2022 at 2:03 pm #2107656Thanks James I’ll look into that. I see their version hasn’t been updated since 2013, though. 😆
March 14, 2022 at 2:02 pm #2107655Yup I have that program and it doesn’t have an application for playback of recordings
August 31, 2020 at 8:50 am #1969377I guess that makes sense not being as clear when directly connected to the units. That’s why I’m thinking I might swap the 12 to the bow and 10 to the console for now. And hook the 360 and down image to the 12 g3 and the side image and down image to the 10 on the console. I’m guessing I won’t get mega image on the side scan but that’s alright. As long as I get mega on the 12 it will be alright
August 30, 2020 at 8:10 pm #1969344You do need to have them networked. The G3 will connect directly to the 360 transducer. The G2 can then display the 360 via the network.
Note that your G3 can’t accept any other transducer input if the 360 is attached, but it will be able to display the transducer connected to the G2.
Humminbird said I can Y in the 360 to the Di transducer but they said the Si would have to be off the 360. I’m have tempted to switch the 12 to the front and just run the 360 and Di off it and then have the 10 on the console and run the Di and Si off of it and network in the 360 if needed
August 19, 2020 at 12:26 pm #1966399I called my trailer company and they knew exactly what I needed and it was less than Dexter vault kit. Came with 2 kits. They recommend doing both wheels on the axle. I did the one leaking and saved the other for a spare.
Same trailer as I have?
August 19, 2020 at 7:27 am #1966316If you get specs figured out, lots of trailer part places around or on line instead of looking at marine places only.
That’s what I’m trying to do. I called a couple dealers already and they had part numbers but none that crossed over and they didn’t pull up online? I might call in tune marine next to me here in Richmond. They sell triton and Phoenix. The hubs should be the same I would think?
August 18, 2020 at 5:16 pm #1966182I think you’re on to something!! Maybe you should see if someone can make a tv show about it! Nothing!!
June 25, 2019 at 12:31 pm #1864145Very cool!! That’s what I was looking for! What would be a nice addition to this site is a compass along with a line pointing toward the tower so when you’re turning it you know you’re right on. Or I could get signal meter too and that should tell me the best direction to turn it

There are no fish in the chain…. literally aim the antenna toward the Twin Cities…. are you on the chain ?I have tried many different west to south to east antenna positions and still can’t get the cities channels
And yes we are on the very north end of east lake by the channel going to the marina
you have to be close to Brinkmans cabin right on that little pennesula.
Yup if you look across the channel from his house…that property that looks like a park (20 acres with the two islands connected by a bridge) … we own that now

We are new to Richmond area just west of St Cloud and am trying to aim the OTA to get the most channels I can get for the area which is E or SE. All I get are the 6 41 and 42 channels. Only one of them is a twin cities channel. Does anyone know how I can get more (like 11? 4? 9?) channels up here? The new HUGE antenna I bought isn’t doing any better than the little one on our motorhome. Plus the huge antenna is above the trees and the little one is below trees and in a valley. I thought about an amplifier but have used them before with little success we may end up going by way of internet but would rather do OTA in case weather causes internet to go out.Richmond huh! That’s my hometown. Live 5 miles east in cold spring.
Sorry don’t know crap about antennas
Do you know anything about the Horseshoe chain? How to fish it? I’m such a novice I know nothing of the chain of lakes and could use some pointers
June 23, 2019 at 7:49 am #1863564Nope totally a good question to ask and yes i did. Actually every time you readjust it you should rescan. I used to install home theater systems for Best Buy and I have rescanned hundreds of tvs. In the cities it was a no brainer. Here? Not so much. I even drove the neighborhood to see how the neighbors had their antennas pointed and they are the same direction. But some have tall towers. We are strongly thinking of going internet tv like Directv now and if it goes out it goes out ????????♂️

June 22, 2019 at 9:02 pm #1863508There are a few trees but also hard to tell in the distance what’s in the way. Also I’m using RG6 outdoor cable but I’m 100’ from antenna so I’m sure there is some loss. And I have tried turning it to different directions but it works best pointing it south east to east. Maybe I have to erect a tower to get it up higher? But then I might as well get internet tv or Directv now if I’m putting that much money into it?
May 2, 2019 at 10:30 am #1854267Is there a requirement that the man hole cover be exposed and accessible at all times?
May 2, 2019 at 8:06 am #1854223I would also try to find the original design and inspection documents prior to having the new inspection. Don’t know if that will help, but it can’t hurt. County should have those documents on file.
I did pull the original one from the city of Lake Elmo. Hopefully that helps.
May 2, 2019 at 6:24 am #1854195Please don’t get me wrong… It’s a good thing to get the system fixed especially for protecting the environment. It just sucks having to fork $$$ out and potentially loose a sale over this. But with that said it’s our fault for not having this done last year when the house went up for sale so we are not surprised now.
Also I guess if this buyer wants this house/property bad enough then they will find ways to work with us to come to an agreeable outcome.
March 31, 2019 at 7:28 pm #1847445Nelson Lake in ND comes to mind but it’ll be more than 5 hrs away for you.
Yup been there a few times. It’s about 8 hours to the boat landing. Sometimes a crap shoot how the weather is. There are no trees around so when it’s windy it really blows across that small prairie lake!
March 31, 2019 at 7:24 pm #1847444Chequamegon Bay, Ashland Wisconsin. Worldclass smallies that could put Mille Lacs to shame. Haven’t researched if the season is open at the moment however.
Is there a hot water discharge there? I was thinking of going somewhere a little warmer. Plus I don’t think the season is open there?
